Secrets Of Runescape

In the old days with RSC (Runescape Classic) one person, named ”SixFeetUnder” used a famous program, but it's non-functional anymore. It was called ”AutoRune”. This incident actually happened 2003. SixFeetUnder figured out how to send commands to the Runescape server in RSC.

This command make it so he had more items in his inventory. This player told three people and it got leaked. People duplicated every rare item in Runescape. This dropped the price of a pink party hat, the rarest item, from 15m to 500k in one day!

SixFeetUnder dropped party hats everywhere, he dropped rare things everywhere. Jagex almost reset the server back a week to reduce the outcome but decided not to because that would also reset all the trades and levels people gained. This was a major backslash and many high leveled player quit Runescape because of this. An inventory could include around 100 crackers, over 100 pink party hats and many of each other hats. Imagine .

SixFeetUnder ended up telling Jagex in trade for a unlimited membership and a chance of being a moderator and an official tester, but he was banned and the hole in the game was closed.

Now Runescape hacking isn't possible, the only way is to find bugs or glitches in the game. The second incident was hidden from other players in the game. It involves three players, some playing huge parts and other small. People got banned, and people got mad but in the end it was all covered by billions of gp duplicated and almost nobody knows about it.

It all started two weeks after the POH, Player Owned House release. A person called Portal (Josh) and another called Pplsuqbawlz (Alex) figured out that if you had high construction enough you could duplicate money in the player created chest in your house. People that found out about the bug after it was closed thought it was a glitch where when Runescape updated, you would have traded or dropped the money and it would be duplicated but thats not the true story.

Josh and Alex keept the secret people wanted so bad hidden .but here's how it went:

When you put the money in the chest you needed a friend to open the chest and pull out the money in milliseconds of the money being put in, and logout and when the person that put the money in the chest logs back in he would still have the money he put in and so would the friend taking it out. This worked and they duplicated the money and made billions of gp, and bought lots of party hats and other rare stuff.

To discover the dupe Josh had tried and lost over 400m, and when finally after all the time and money he was broke, and so he tried one last time and it worked! Thats shows how much work and money it takes to discover a glitch in the system. They hired people to find glitches in the system but never told people about this.

Josh and Alex started buying all rare stuff and the price for for example blue party hat rose from 200m to 600m in one day, because now the had almost them all. They had mule accounts, holding their rare stuff and each of them maxed out the 2.1 billions of gp.

Then Josh and Alex hired a person to sell Runescape millions to anybody he could find, on every cheating community and gold selling sites. They sold to people for any price. Josh hired the person because of his reputation and trustworthiness. They sold billions of gp in no time at all for the low price of 3USD, the lowest price in the history of Runescape money selling. They had so much money they didn't know what to do and unlike with AutoRune Josh never told anybody about the dupe and the money just keep flowing.

People got overjoyed but that soon turned into anger when Jagex found out about the glitch and started banning people everywhere. The hired persons got banned, Josh and Alex got every single account they made banned, everyone that had traded them got banned, their friends got banned and every person having even 1GP of the duplicated money. It was a nightmare and some people didn't get banned, but in the end every account were banned, or where they?

There is going some rumor about that there still was party hats, crackers and a lot of other rare items Jagex never found. It was a glitch so secret not even Jagex would know about, no forum posts, no blogs nothing. After all in the end they did Jagex a favor. It was all about making money and Jagex needed a huge reason to ban people, and so they got when Josh and his friends brought all the party hats and sold for gp. Now Jagex had a reason to ban people and the price per Runescape GP rose, which is the reason maybe some of your friends got banned

 

I love hearing this story but, i don't think this ain't a secret no more.

Im sorry but u got the sixfeetunder story incorrect

They did it with the trade menu, he told his bot to offer (item id, Amount) in trade. and he stumpled on this by accident BTW. He was tryin to trade bunny ears and sythe, He found out in the trade window if u put 0 of the amount it actully created the item, NO items were duplicated. They were createing Items. Sixfeetunder told 3 friends, I r sorrow , kaitnieks and someone else(not sure at the time) and then they told other ppl ( I was one of those other people) so we had fun and then jagex heard about what was happening. They ask for anyone with info on it to come up. they got 1,000 of messages that day. Then they offerd Unlimited Membership. I r Sorrow told jagex how the trick was done, He was banned and the trade ended, anyone connected to I r sorrow was banned (I was one of those persons) but what ppl dont know about the story is Sixfeetunder had a mule and so did I. his mule was Imma get you and mine was The Dogg99, we had around 100 hats on each accout and we each kept 1 Christmas Cracker. over the next 3 years me and him decided to turn our mules into mages and become rich. Well sixfeetunder decided to make a magebot and we tryed to get rich , but he got banned for autoing. he lost it all and left classic. Now me on the other hand. i lost all my hats. but i still play

Yes i still have my mage bot and took me 3 years to get those stats

xx jut xx is a fake to behonest, he stole credit from ppl, xx jut xx never got rich by the dupe, he just got rich skilling and was around when the dupe went on, he then bought pink hats and other hats for like 100k. I will look for some of my old dupe pictures we took

Quick edit: xx jut xx was in kaitnieks clan ( so was i ) xx jut xx might of caught on, but if he did dupe he woulda been ban like the rest of us were. Only thing i can think of is that someone duped and gave him hats.... me and jut were not friends!

Infact, you are wrong. Someone that works for Jagex in the computer programming department can hack Runescape.

that was an interesting story, and hearing everyone else's with their screenshots, i used to play classic too i still can get it on i but 200 people plare online max per day lol, a bit boring but ne ways cool story!!

 

you did a great job elaborating my history, but left out one other person who aided in the discovery...the person who was #1 in construction...

Crackers were never bought... and it wasnt 2.1bil on each account, there was 2.1 bil in the bank and then in the inventory and some accts even had chests with that money in them too.
