First few things in over a year

Thanks, its been hard for me to find any good resources lately and I need better renders, and where I have been out of the game for so long I need to work on my text blending.

All of these were done for an MLG clan I am in and we have just made the site so I am making banners for each team

I used to make everyone sigs and shit here back when Sythe.org was still RuneCMS and when Sythe.org became Sythe.org, back then I was RuneScaper then Zeke, haha, been forever since I have been on here

 

Most of them are over-sharpened or contrasted, and the text in most of them doesn't go with the sig. Try to experiment with different fonts, and styles, and look at a few font tutorials to see how you can integrate them better into the sig. Also, the render-placement isn't too good, and most of the renders don't look blended into the signature at all, apart from colourwise... try to change the style of some of them as well, because currently they all look the same.

yeah, Im working on getting all my materials back and working on new styles, I just have a few good brush packs atm, and its really limiting my area, and text has always been a kind of weak point for me, so I am always looking for new ways to do it and improve it to make it blend better, and my fonts have been limited cause my comp was being gay and wouldnt let me install any new fonts

 

Fonts: you can use default fonts even such as century gothic or arial effectively.

Brushes: play around with scatter and size jitter, and you can get many effect, with most brushes.

Contrast: just contrast it less generally.

renders: easy smudging with a brush (^ say on scatter and size jitter) can lead to the render looking like it's involved more in the sig.

Basicly this is a style from 4-5 years ago, try moving up, using downloaded brushes without depth and monocoloring isn't hot anymore.

 

I wasnt trying to monocolor, Im having to relearn alot of things, and also I used levels to actually create a bit of depth. Please before you act like you have a degree, get one.

 

Haunted's not trying to insult you, he's saying there's no obvious depth, so the depth you created might be too subtle or concealed.

 

Not to be rude but they are way oversized,same style of brushes,same text you should work on adding a unique style to each of your pieces not make things similar as you will learn nothing from this and never grow.

I don't like the backgrounds, they look bad.
It takes alot of attention away from the renders.
