    se7in / jordansablan scammer

    Hi,

Yesterday I sold a large amount of my items on RuneScape. All went through absolutely fine and Giddy was used as the OMM. My final transaction I did the remainder of my items in bulk for $1035 to http://www.sythe.org/member.php?u=206865 [email protected]

It consisted of 2 santas, 2 red masks, 2 blue masks, 1 green mask, 2 eggs, and 2 discs. The transaction went through fine although he sent it in two, $999 and $36 due to a limitation.

15minutes after I had 2 disputes filed against me on PayPal and the money is now being held.

--- Below is the PayPal conversation

This was supposed to be a trade for a virtual account in an online game. The initial agreed upon price for the account was $1035 USD. After sending the money I did not receive the account and the seller refuses to accept my calls via skype and has logged off. It is evident that he has scammed me. He was supposed to send me the information once he received the funds as we were online in skype.

He first told me to send him over $1035+ USD and I was about to but on the send money confirmation screen I told him that it won't be instant and it will be an e-check that will take 3 days to process. He said he wanted the money now and wanted me to send him increments of $999 usd and the remainder of $36 USD. I should have trusted my gut feeling when he told me this. I would like my money back and would not like anything to do with this fraudulent seller ever again. I will be posting this exact same message in my second dispute for the remaining $36 USD.

Please advise I would not like to negotiate anything with this seller. I will file a claim.

This is completely false. We used a middle man to prevent any malpractice during the transaction, Jordan paid this user $44 for ensuring the trade went smoothly. I gave the items to the middle man, Jordan then got confirmation and paid me.

All was completely happily and I have lots of logs of this happening, in addition to that, as my PayPal history shows I have done several trades tonight all which went perfectly well as have all of mine in the history of this account.

I find the fact that you'd be so dishonest to post this outrageous.

I will be escalating this dispute to a claim 02/15/2011.

Jordan, please can you reply to the above message regarding the middle man and the outgoing fee you paid. I can attach full chat history and pictures if required.

---- First off, can people advise me on what I can do to protect myself?
Secondly, please avoid this seller in future and ALWAYS sell to people with a good rep and vouches. Lesson learned here!
