Uhm, It isn't illegal, He didn't do anything that act's as a law. If you were happened to pay him, and then he scammed. You can happily go to the authorities. but, you can't take legal actions. I'm sorry, what your saying is just a bunch of boggus. Even if you sent him a penny, you could of SUE him, or better yet arrest him for fraud. but as of now. You can't really do anything.

 

Actually yes it is, stealing virtual property is just as much a crime as stealing real property. I can take him to court regardless, so please go learn something about how the court systems work and how they see these type of situations.

Stealing is a crime and you're naive to think that this isn't viable for being a case which the courts can take.

 

He didn't take your property, You basically handed it to him, IT WAS YOUR responsibility, Simply you could of used a MM, there's many options, but you had to trust him. So IT was in your responsibility.

Irawr, if its such a dumb game then why would "Chris" Steal that kids account? Obviously to some people runescape is more then "Pixels with dumb graphics".
