Cav's will be lucky to be a top 3 team in the East this season they have crap defense can't set pick n roll's and there bench is weak.

From what I've seen Chicago and Toronto are the only two teams in the Eastern conference that can compete at the same level of intensity as the prestigious Western conference

I will be very suprised to see 3 teams with 50+ wins in the East this season

But as of now the only two teams can pass the 50 win margin(EASTERN CONF) in my eyes aNd they are none other than Toronto and Chicago

The west might have all 8 playoff teams in the 50 win region LOL.

If Derek Rose can stay healthy Chicago guaranteed in the Eastern conf Finals....

As for the other spot I believe Toronto has a better chance than Cav's... Don't even mention Washington until Beal comes back they have yet to impress anyone.

You can at least provide some sort of analyst to back what you're saying. Unlike you, I will.

    Cavs

    - Best offensive team in the east
    - Bad interior defense
    - Best game closure in the east

    Bulls

    - Moderate team offense
    - Best overall defense in the east
    - Questionable ability to close out games

    Raptors

    - 2nd best offensive team in the east
    - Good interior defense
    - Not enough evidence to support their ability to close out

You remind me of those people who bring up the mvp discussion soon after the season starts, it's comical. It's too soon to make any sort of accurate assumptions, and i'll tell you why.

    Reason 1.

Cleveland isn't done organizing the team. They're still looking for pieces to help their defense, not to mention the possibility of ray allen coming. This team has more new faces than both of the two teams you provided. Adjustment will take more time.

    Reason 2.

The bulls are a good team without Derrick Rose, I'd even go as far to say that Derrick Rose disrupts the teams chemistry down the stretch. The guy is indefinitely injury prone. Jimmy Butler is the best player on the team this season. I don't see them beating any contender in the conference finals. They play their worst during the playoffs.

    Reason 3.

Look at the raptors schedule and tell me they didn't face teams of lower caliber. Their blowout games are unimpressive wins considering most of those games took place at home, and those teams are missing important pieces. I don't see them passing the semi conference finals this year. They lack playoff experience.

That's just my opinion looking at the start of the season.

It's way too soon to say the most favorable team to go to the finals won't win anything.

lol @ jumping to conclusions when there are literally over 70 games left.

I've always been a Heat fan considering I was raised in Miami but I'll admit that we're doing shit and the Cavs are going to be a serious threat. Give it 35 more games then you'll be able to make real decisions and predictions.

Raptors lack of playoff experience? Buddy Lebron is the only guy on the Cavs to play in the playoffs recently...

They have a rookie coach... Love and Irving HAVE NEVER played in the playoffs

Why are you bringing in schedule's into this the Cavs's have had an easier one in my opinion they just have been so crap they lost to teams that won't even make the playoffs.

Raptors are a top 10 in both Offense and Defense in the league and that's what it takes to contend. There lack of playoff basket-ball disappeared last season the same group of guys are back and it show's how much team chemistry matters.

With securing home court advantage Raptors have a really good chance to make the conference finals.

And what is this bullshit like they don't know how to close out games Raptors are the best 4th quarter team in the league buddy.

You don't watch basketball. Mike Miller, James Jones, Shawn Marion were in the playoffs last year. All three have won a ring before. No one on the raptors roster has won a ring. The cavs definitely had a harder season start than the raptors. Cavs vs Raptors on the 22nd, let's see who wins.

Buddy the Head coach of the Toronto Raptors Dwayne Casey won a championship with Dallas like 4 years ago or something he was assisant coach he has the knowledge and experience to go on a deep playoff run he took a team that was young and 0 playoff time and made them go game 7 and lose by 1 point to a team with craazy experience.

You know how important coaching is in todays league friggin David Blatch? w.e his name is never coached in the NBA before you think he's going to start off by making a deep playoff run... Keep dreaming he needs at least 1 full year of off season and regular season to mold his team together.

And yea Raptors play Cav's on Friday but who cares they play Memphis on Wednesday the Griz are way better then the Cav's lets see who wins that match up.

Coaches aren't the ones playing the game, you need good players to win games.

If you don't have a superstar on your team, you won't win a championship. Name a coach who won without a superstar on their team?

David Blatt* doesn't need to coach that team, just like Erik Spolestra didn't need to. Lebron is a coach, and a player. The team will definitely make it to the finals without a doubt this year. They will most likely lose, but there is no other contender except the bulls, and like I said, they blow in the playoffs.

    Rose is injured again, woohoo.

Your giving Cav's way to much love Irving and Love were not like Bosh and Wade...

Wade won a championship before Lebron n Bosh even came and Bosh even he had playoff basket-ball in him

Wade was in his prime. He had shaq and alonzo mourning. What is your point? The 2006 team was more consistent than the big 3 in 2010.

Tim Duncan will always be a superstar.
    Tony Parker is a superstar.
    The admiral was a superstar.

The cavs losing is not surprising, considering their lack of defense. The only people who bring it up are butthurt lebron haters.

The cavs can finish at an eighth seed, and still will be favored to reach the conference finals/finals.

The Spurs "Big three" are not super stars...

Super star is having 50 point games...

Averaging 20+ a game 5+ assists 5+ rebounds getting to the foul line doing crazy things and getting in the top 10 highlights and pay attention to this one playing 35+ mins a game.

The spurs three do not play 30+ mins a game they are not superstars they just have good chemistry and formed a lifetime bond/friendship around each other and trust that few players in the league have.

    Don't get confused.

Duncan was a superstar not anymore though he can't compete and move like D Howard or my personal favourite Anothony Davis those are superstars... aKa Prime Years

    Oh..

So paul george, blake griffin, chris paul, dwight howard, derrick rose, anthony davis, marc gasol, chris bosh, rondo, damien lillard, kyrie irving, john wall are not superstars based on your standard of one.

I don't think you understand the word, and it's definition. Tim duncan will give dwight howard hell, even at his age.

If you genuinely watched basketball, you would know this.

The Spurs have superstars, are you kidding me?

Duncan, Parker, Leonard. Possibly Genobli (sp?). Everyone labels them as just a simple team but they are quite opposite. They've got fire power. And a superstar Coach.

You keep going back to genuinely watch basket-ball what the fuck is that about obviously I watch the game you got down syndrome?

I don't know your definition of superstar is completly different from mine...

All the people you listed are stars on there teams and in the NBA.

But a super star? Lebron is a super star... Kobe is a super Star... Melo even with 0 ships is a super star... or at least that's my perspective of what a super star is. All three of them were stars at one point but moved into new heights of stardom which none of the players you listed have done.

Maybe Derek Rose before he was a slacker was a super star he's misses to many games his membership in that club has been revoked.

    You don't watch basketball.

Definition of a superstar: a high-profile and extremely successful performer or athlete.

Tim Duncan is a high profile athlete that performs extremely well for his age. I don't think you watched the playoffs to see his performance.

Tony parker, ginobli, and leonard played at superstar levels during the playoffs.

You don't have to score a lot to be a superstar. The impact you have on a game should be enough to determine that.

    Basketball isn't just about scoring.
