    The are almost the same. But with scar currently building on more scripts right now and developing new version (scar titan) where simba is working hard towards SRL 5.

    They are pretty much the same as far as you guys (non scripters :p) are concerned.

    By BY FAR Simba has more users, scripts, activity, etc. SCAR is closed source and Simba was created as an open source alternative to it.
    There currently are only a handful of active SCAR coders/scripts while Simba is bustling like crazy.

    Isn't Simba easier to program? But I'm really happy overall with what I've seen of Simba so far. Haven't looked into SCAR so much.
