Some Common Errors I've seen...

Hey, Ive been trying to help people in this section... but I keep seeing the same errors, over and over again... Heres some of them, and what you can do about them.


1. Include file C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.13\includes\si.txt does not exist

This is simple... 1st off, that means that you do not have Si.txt. Si.txt is an old SCAR include, that wont work no more. So most likely, if you were to miraculously get it working. Your script is OUTDATED and will probably get you banned.



2. My SCAR says Successfully Compiled!!! But then it says Succefully Executed

There are many reasons this can be happening...


Look in your script for where is says:

Code:

begin
end.

Does it have anything between it??? if not, this is where u call in your procedures.

Another Reason, if you are using an SRL script, make sure that you fill out all the constants, SRL-ID, SRL-PASS, Username, password, nick.



3. I go to File->Download SRL but it doesnt get SRL!!!

Freddy1990 deleted all his old includes from the scar download. Simply go to http://www.srl-forums.com make an account and search for "Subversion Respritory". Download and install, then follow the guide on there.



4. Will macroing get me banned? or IP Banned?

Macroing can get your account permenantly banned, but if you auto correctly, and use up to date scripts, you should be fine.

Also, about IP bans, Jagex will not ip ban you for macroing. You'd have to do something huge, bigger then Durial (all he did was find a bug), like maybe hack their systems and ban everyone.. something like that.
