How to download and install SCAR?

I tried to download and install scar today and my virus scan picked up a trojan, now i looked on the forums and it said something about a scar browser or something but it's when I'm installing the program and when i do, it gives me two options (my virus scanner is like hyper aware because i tried even shutting it off while i install the program and it still detected it, anyway), option one is that i could abort installing the whole thing completely, or option two is i could ignore it (says that it's not recommended) and then i try running the program and Windows says that it's not responding and it auto shuts down. This makes me sad, i wanna start scripting again, so idk what to do, help please.

Did you even read what i said? Giving the link to the website that I downloaded it from isn't going to help me, thanks anyway. If someone else would help me I'd appreciated it.

 

Where did you download SCAR? Always download it from the official site as mentioned above.

If you downloaded SCAR from the official page then it's not a virus. I guess you have McAfee because it detects SCAR. I suggest you changing to another antivirus like Avira.

 

Such a pain, can't they just take what ever out and upload a modified version, one that pleases the virus protection programs?
