Scammer RSKingdom-2012?

4 Days ago i bought a script from him that was supposed to make 400k-1m in hour, but you can barely get 400k if you are lucky and you can even lose money with the script.
The script is using tanning method, that means you need to use ge to buy the hides and to sell them after tanning.
After 2 days of using i saw that profit was not 400k, only once the profit showed that you can get 1m in hour. In that case i was able to buy the red dragonhide to tan for ~2800 gp each and sell tanned hides ~3300 gp each. I bought the hides for 2800gp each, tanned them for 6 hours and when i tried to sell the hides for 3300 gp each they didn't sell even after waiting for 10 minutes. I did some market research after and found out that the tanned hides sell now for 2850-2900 gp each. So the 1m profit was down to 200k profit per hour.
It is due to the fact that many of the bots saw that the profit was that good. They bought the hides and tanned them, so the supply for red dragonhide skyrocketed and the price went down due to that. That happens with every hide that profit goes somewhere near 400k and that is why I think i was scammed.
I tried to contact with RsKingdom then, but he didn't answer me on MSN for 24 hours, so i replied in his topic and you can see the conversation here : http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1384160&page=7
Even he said that there is a problem with the profit :

With the script he provided excel file that SHOULD show the profit, but as stated above, it doesn't always work.
Right now i did the market research and i got prices like these:

The max profit per hour method means that you'll have to spend 30 minutes in total at ge selling and buying the items and if you are buying thousands of dragonhide then you won't even get them for that good price.

Well, I checked out his sales thread and there is a clear disclaimer at the beginning of the guide:

The thread was last edited on the 12/05/2012, so I know that he didn't just edit his thread to include a disclaimer once he saw you reported him. I also looked through all the vouches he's received so far, and it seems like the majority of customers have been quite happy with the script and the resulting profit so far.

Have you discussed a refund with him?

 

Well I have the money to run the bot for hours so it's not the problem. With the disclaimer it seems to be okay when i make a thread about script that's making 1m profit per hour, then add the same disclaimer and when people are only making 200k p/h everything is okay?

I offered him to pay me back half of the money, because the script is making half less than was stated. He declined.

 

He actually says that the method makes 400k - 1000k per hour, which is quite a wide range of possible profits. He doesn't say that it makes 1m per hour, but that seems to be how you interpreted it.I don't really know what you expect us to do, as he didn't exactly scam you. You bought a guide from him, a guide that it was made clear has a wide profit margin that varies depending on many different factors.

If you are unhappy with the method and want a refund, the professional thing to do would be to refund your money to keep his customers happy. But I don't think there is anything I can do to enforce this or make him pay you that money back. How he wants to handle his customers is his choice, as is his refund policy.

 

I wasn't expecting it to make 1m, I was expecting it to make 400k, but it seems to be too much to ask.
Sad to hear that you allow here to sell guides that profit is not as stated. Guess i could sell a guide that makes 5m per hour, it doesn't, yet nothing happens to me?

 

No, that is an entirely different situation. Making a guide claiming to make 5m per hour when it in fact makes nothing, is just false advertising.

RSKingdom-2012 clearly stated on this thread that the guide has WIDE RANGE of possible profits, ranging in the amounts of 400k-1000k. He also explains that the actual profits you can make depend on a whole bunch of factors, and so the estimations of profit per hour are approximate.

I know that he wasn't just false advertising as well, because I went through all the vouches of people who bought the guide from him and are very happy/satisfied with the results (there were quite a few people in this category). Personally, I think that he should refund you because you are not happy with his guide, as it is the professional thing to do. However, I don't think we are able to force him to do that, as you willingly paid for the guide.

I will PM him and ask if you could possibly be refunded at least partially. It is something you will have to take up with him yourself though.
