Imposter scam/poor trading practices searchy

The User "Searchy" Searchy scammed me last night for 494 GBP.

You can see the anomalies in the screenshots where he has messaged himself using my Discord name. I have attached the REAL conversation, including a PM from his official account.

I have also contacted my bank, TransferWise and the police as he has my Passport details.

NOTICE all the anomalies? Like omission of me saying it's a debit card, "i am loyal devil" vs "I am loyal devil", and the most ridiculous attempt of them all "you are the right person" instead of "you're the right person"

As I say this will be followed up by police, which I have informed him of, as well as my intention to press further charges unless the funds are returned, as he can commit further fraud using my passport.

This is him having a conversation with himself, note that I'm apparently saying I want to stake. (I am 75-95-20), not that it's relevant, just hilarious that someone with so many vouches is trying to scam me as I rarely use Sythe.

This is the ID of the account he was talking to himself on using my name. Confirmed through his own official account that he is the true owner as he sent screenshots proving he has access to both. (I only sent passport picture in the chat now called "lalala").

I have report Searchy to my bank, his bank and Action Fraud. I know he has a lot of vouches on here but I would not give my details to police if I was lying. So people know how serious this is, and that he is willing to scam less credible users of Sythe.org.

I have provided evidence in a deleted post as it contains sensitive information. You are a massive fraudster and deserve to be banned on Sythe, have a good day

 

It doesn't matter if I'm banned on Sythe, you should call your bank and return what you stole. I will go to the financial Ombudsman too if I have to. You have clearly edited the "evidence" as it doesn't match our actual chat log on Discord app lol.

@loyal_devil @Searchy, you both spoke to an imposter in this conversation. Frankly I am surprised that Searchy, you did not actually verify the guy's discord yourself. Your pm was also missing unique IDs (surely you know better?) I also don't see proof that loyal_devil is his own imposter.

In these situations, the person who spoke to the imposter is the one who takes the loss here. However, this situation could have been prevented had you @Searchy taken better steps. Because you did not take these steps, this guy's personal information is now in the hands of a scammer and he's lost his money. I don't know how you managed to send a pm in December 2019 without any unique IDs or any request of the user to verify information especially given how absolutely sensitive this information was. I have added this thread to your twc reason, please ensure that every pm you send from here on is proper
