Scammer reports section.

Well I've recently joined www.sythe.org, and it is a great community, I just wanted to point out the amount of spammer reports that have not been handled in the time I've been here, I report lots of people for spamming because I think it lags up the site when someone spams. I really don't know why, but it might not be the mods faults since this site is so huge and not exactly the easiest thing to manage, but on to my suggestion, I was hoping to have more moderators in the Report section. I also wanted to say that I myself look at that Report a Spammer section a lot myself. Sometimes I can't believe some things that Sythe members say when they flame, it's just so impolite and rediculous.

Please don't flame me about saying how mods do a great job for the whole site and I shouldn't be asking for anymore. Well I know they do a great job, I'm just making a suggestion considering it is the suggestions forum. Also, please don't start saying this is a dumb suggestion, I'll simply report.

 

1) your breaking a sythe rule right now by posting this and asking for more mods
2) just because the mods did not respond to a thread in the section doesnt mean they havent infracted them
3) there are like 10 mods total.... and there are like 1 million reports a day

i think what your trying to say is that you deserve the right to be a mod because you look at it a lot and dont like what some people say?

also if you are trying to become a mod/admin/etc its not so easy......

just because you report people and be nice to people and have no infracts does not mean you will still get it

there are people here on sythe joined in 2005 and they are still not became an admin or anything yet

 

No, I am not in any way shape or form trying to gain a moderator position, in fact I don't even want to be one because I don't want to do that much work. Please don't start throwing stuff about me when you barely even know me. I'm not very happy with your assumption because I know for sure no moderator on administrator would make me anything because I have absolutely barely any experience with the boards itself. And for the rules that I broke, I will admit my fault and accept a warning or an infraction.

IMO, the majority of spam reports are a waste of time and the ones that aren't are usually taken care of by the time someone gets to them.

 

I agree, but the scammer reports will die down soon, since the market is closed.

The mods do as much as they can to handle the reports.

 

Dude, have you SEEN how many there are... Spam/scam reports... We work on them constantly but the issue is that members report pointless posts and such and TBH a LOT of the mods have better things to do with their time... we do our best...
