Scammed by sythe user.

I don't know this persons sythe account but i sell wow services on here and have for a long time now, it's my only source of income and every now and then i'm desperate and trust a customer who wants to pay half & half or pay after the service is completed.

My customer who has scammed me has an email address linked to his wow account, this is it, it may be the same as his sythe account. [email protected]

He is from Goirle in the Netherlands.

We agreed that i'd level his character 1-90 for 2x 60 day prepaid timecards and $69 via paypal to get his character to 500 ilevel.

I quoted 7days leveling and 1-3 days for gear. I started 6th March finished 15th march, 9days work. 12-18 hours per day, i was earning an average of $0.95 per hour i worked with the deal we made, which is ridiculous to start with but i was desperate to be able to pay my rent on the 18th, tomorrow...

We agreed 1/2 and 1/2, 1 timecard before 1 after and the gear paid for after that was done too. I got the first card and the first card only and i used it fast to make sure it was real. Because this is all i got, in the end i worked for an average of $0.22 per hour for this guy. Not only that, he was brand new to wow so i gave him advice and information and useful links to websites to learn the game, even after the work was done he was asking for more advice and information so he could play the game and i continued to help the guy hoping he'd pay afterwards... Sadly he deleted me on skype and blocked me today after i gave him my paypal address and asked that we conclude the deal.

Here is some evidence i've gotten together and below an email i have sent to the customer. I want you to have everything you need to make this guy pay for the damage he's done to me the last 9days.

Hello Davey,

This is Steph from mmoholmes, as you may well know I use mmoholmes and my wowservices to survive. I am unable to find a job so resorted to desperate measures of sitting at my computer 12-18hours per day to earn just enough to cover my rent and bills and buy food so that I can survive. I live in the UK and it's very expensive here, meaning the way I earn money is very difficult. That's why I'm the only person who does this, everyone else is from china or asia where the money is good due to their economy. Sadly every now and then I'm so desperate and in need of money that I put my trust into customers, who are strangers to me really. I put my trust in them when they ask to pay for the work I do after it is done. This is risky but I figure that I have to take the chance because I need it badly and I hope and worry the whole time that the person does not scam me...

In your case I went above and beyond to please you, to give you a ridiculous amount of customer service, knowledge and advice about world of warcraft. I also gave you a stupidly low price and even let you trade items in the deal. The deal started on the 6th march and ended on the 15th of march. So thats 9days work. So walk through this with me now to see how much I was earning. For arguements sake lets just say i played an average of 15 hours per day for 9 days. Thats 135 hours. In the UK 135hours of work is paid at a minimum wage of £6.31 for my age group. So that'd cost you £851.85... Around $1200. Now lets work out what I was working for, 2 x 60day time cards which equals to $60 and $69 for gearing, totalling $129. So I worked for you for 9 days to earn $0.95 per hour, around £0.70 per hour. What i actually got at the end of it due to scamming me is $0.22 per hour, which is around £0.15 per hour.

You entered a binding contract with me online and with my company mmoholmes when we agreed the deal via skype and I completed this work for you. I can't say how upset, empty and distraught I feel by what you've done and how sick it makes me. I hope you can live with yourself and your conscience isn't weighing down on you after what you've done to me, I was depending on that payment for my rent due on the 18th of every month. Now I have to find another way or face eviction, i'll most likely have to sell personal items today, thanks to you. I don't really hope this doesn't weigh down on you, I actually do. I was kind to you, I helped you so much, answered all your questions, gave you links and details and kickstarted your wow experience and did all the hard work for you. Then you repay me by doing this which you must of known you were going to do the whole time, even when you were asking for more advice and help and watching me do so much for you, all that time you knew what you were going to do. It's a shame there are people out there that can do what you do, making life so difficult for others for their own greed and gain due to selfishness.

To finish of this letter to you, I'd like you to know due to the principle of the matter and what you put me through I will most definitely be taking this alot further and have experience in what i'm about to do next due to this not being the first time it has happened. I will take this case to sythe, to every wow market website, to moderators that i know on those websites. I will search for your facebook, your paypal, your address, your details, i'll find them and i'll use them to either have you punished to a level i find appropriate or until i receive the payment i'm owed. I know your character in game, i know your account information, there is alot i can do with that. There is a scenario where i get your account banned permanently for the work i did on your account which i have proof of because it is against blizzards terms of use, this scenario would mean that you have no reason to pay me so it's my last resort. There's another scenario where you make the payments owed and this ends now. Until then i'll be working more hours for free to give you even more, except what you'll be getting, you won't want.

I sincerely hope this gets sorted very quickly, i'll now be contacting my friend who is a freelance lawyer who has helped me in the past and sythe to have you banned.

Hope you can help, I have seen his thread trying to sell the prepaid cards on this forum before I did this deal with him, i'll try and dig around the dates the deal was done to see if I can get his sythe name...
