Unfortunately, due to resolved, responsibility line goes on. I think everything relevant has already been said in the before mentioned thread. No hard feelings in here, just an unfortunate chain of events.

 

Im not sure how to handle this because several months ago I was informed by Zora that simply having my ToS in my sythe thread was not enough and I needed to make customer verify they read my ToS which states my warranty is 30 days. Which I have been dutifully doing so ever since.

This account was sold on Dec 8th 2020, so at the time I was unaware that I was required to make @Divx read and agreed to my ToS.

That being said, Divx re-sold the account, and the sequence of events is a little weird so I dont feel particularly responsible and so I told @Divx to post and let you guys decide if his re-sale of the account voided any kind of refund I may be required to give him.

If not, I will refund him immediately following once the decision is made.

 

Im not sure if this counts, but DivX bought this account off me directly because PlayerAuctions was failing to take his payment at the time. My PlayerAuctions guaranty was listed as 30 days. He found my Sythe afterwards. Im not sure the 30 day warranty advertised on PlayerAuctions counts as I still did not directly verify he agreed to it or my sythe ToS beforehand.

The connection I am trying to make I suppose is that if he got to the point of his payment verifying on PlayerAuctions that means he had already agreed to PlayerAuctions terms and conditions (30 day warranty) but ultimately when they failed to take his money he paid me directly after finding my Sythe.

The transaction on playerauctions was cancelled, "voided" for that matter.

A new transaction started trough Discord / Sythe for the same account. Because of this, Sythe Rules and ToS should apply, offering the 2 year warranty/liability, since there was no ToS specified and/or agreed to for the specific transaction.

 

Refund sent.

 

Corby has issued a refund for the full amount.
