    Explanation of the trade:
    I was sending him BTC for Amazon UK cards, I went first small trades. First trade went perfectly fine for 50 pounds worth of Amazon UK card, second trade went fine and now I had a total of 160 pounds Amazon UK card.

    The third and final trade, we agreed on 149$ BTC for 170 pounds Amazon UK cards, I sent him the BTC, and he responded with a bunch of codes that ended up not working at all, and they all gave me the same error (see below).

    How they scammed: I am hoping that this is a mistake on his part, because he is claiming that the codes are new and that they should work, but they definitely aren't. The first two trades we did went perfectly fine, so this is why I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. But the 3rd trade I trusted him with 149$ and I am starting to regret that.

    Note: Towards the end of the conversation, he started accusing me of scamming him and claiming the codes on another account (Screenshot - 274ee5a658aafc71a08fae284f9a5f22 - Gyazo), but I am willing to verify with Amazon Customer Service the date and time in which these codes were claimed. I guarantee it will not match up with the time of our conversation, because I did not claim them.

    this man is saying that the codes have been used, when it is false he wants to rob me I sent him £150 everything is fine after he sent him £175 he told me they were used

    check with customer service, don't worry, I'm a serious person. I have the conversation with this person. I think this same

    all my codes are fine it is impossible you are looking to steal maybe you applied in another account and you want to steal me

    I literally sent you the money first and trusted you, and everytime the codes worked (in the first 2 trades), I was 100% honest, no reason to lie. I even kept you updated with pictures of me claiming the codes to show you INSTANTLY if they did not work or not. There is no reason for me to lie.

    Showing the time you bought the codes and their redemption status.

    You can post and delete it so only I can see if the photo has personal information.

    I just spoke to Amazon Customer service for the last 2 hours.

    They confirmed that one of the codes sent to me by XtradingX was issued and used on January 11, 2022. The other ones I was not able to get confirmation on, but that alone should be enough proof that he scammed me and did some shady shit.

    I will post all the proof (images and FULL VIDEO FROM START TO FINISH OF ME SPEAKING TO AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNEDITED) in a post that I will delete below because it has some personal info...

    Correct.

    Evidence has been brought up displaying one of the codes in question was in fact claimed in January of this year far before the date of this trade.
    The agent at amazon also shared that the same account claimed many of these promo codes.

    @XtradingX Unless you have a refund policy that was given to @Kan2229 , and confirmed in writing by both parties you must refund his payment.

    Please let me know once this is done.

    Sorry but there is proof these codes were already used prior to you giving them to the client. If these codes are from surveys then they gave you false codes that you then sold.

    Either way you must provide a refund to @Kan2229

    @XtradingX has had ample time to resolve this and refund the payment and has still not done so.

    However, he did tell @Kan2229 it would be resolved within 24 hours about 40 hours ago.

    I will be placing just a DNT for the time being.

    EDIT: Trading has stopped replying and now shows no signs of wanting to refund, and has been banned.
