Explanation of the trade:

I was paying Konanz to get a QPC on my Ironman including stat training and performing dailies. Konanz valued the skill training at 300$, the quests at $250 and the dailies for the duration of the service at $116 bringing the total to $666. I requested the total value be adjusted to $660 so it could easily be paid in 4 $165 quarters during the service. Konanz agreed.



This is the milestones we agreed that payments would be disbursed at.


I initially paid the first quarter up front and a further 20 dollars for Konanz to do unlock the Halloween cosmetics (something I ended up doing half of the work for).



Throughout the service Konanz would complain about real life financial issues. I have no idea if this is true or not however I noticed they were buying gold on sythe during the claimed periods of financial worry so despite him asking I refrained from giving them money. Eventually I caved and gave him 10 dollars for food that Konanz said would be taken out of the next quarterly payment.





Here is them buying gold during that same period, it was stupid of me to fold but Konanz was relentless and I felt bad.


As Konanz was closing in on the first milestone (114 quests) combined with his continued complaints about his financial situation he convinced me to pay his second lump sum early.

How they scammed:

- The first quarterly milestone has not been reached on my account. Which I paid $165 for.


- As Konanz has not reached the first quarterly milestone the skilling/questing/dailies I paid him $135 early for the second quarter of the service has not been touched.
- Konanz has done about 5 days of dailies since being paid initially on the 21st of October (of which $110 of the service budget was allocated for), I have done all the rest.
- Konanz did around only half of the Halloween event (of which I paid $20 for).

Konanz is completely unresponsive now, here are the latest messages.


If Konanz pays back the $135 for the services he hasn't started and an additional $65 out of the inital $165 I paid him for not doing dailies, playing erratically and not finishing the service for a total of $200 refunded I will consider this resolved and he can keep the rest of the money for the partially rendered service + I will not seek half of the Halloween event money I paid him refunded.

Our entire discord chat history can be provided to the relevant Moderator/Adminitrators. I have exported the chat into a CSV, TXT and HTML file at the time of writing this so messages cannot be deleted.

 

My internet was shut off for a week and a half ish I got it paid today and my internet is back on i just informed that too good omens on discord

 

Konanz has reached out. I am away this weekend however I will talk to Konanz on monday and either organise a refund or continuation of services if satisfactory conditions can be reached.

Please keep this dispute open for the meantime incase this issue does not resolve.

 

I have reached out to Konanz and even though I believe compensation for incomplete work totals around $200 I have asked for a $150 refund and then I will consider this matter resolved.

 

$150 refund has been agreed. I am okay giving Konanz 3 weeks (until 11th December 2022) to pay due to irl financial issues. Please may this dispute remain open until a refund has been issued.
