Scammed By imposter

So Milotic wanted to trade 650m 07GP for a yellow phat in RS3. Once confirming he was the real skype account and PM'd me here on sythe before initiating the trade, I handed over the 650M to his account on OSRS. Once received, he went offline on skype and logged off of runescape. Just throwing this out there for anyone else, Thanks!

So here was when he PM'd me confirmation that it was him, then a pasted and edited log of our conversation. Before trading I confirmed with him that this info was incorrect, and rectified the deal - both parties accepting the terms.

Just for reference, looks like an imposter made 2 skype accounts because Milotic doesn't have live: in front of his name.

I understand I may get infracted, but so be it. Just trying to help the OP settle this.

 

That doesn't answer why the conversation was changed in the picture provided or why Milotic (the real milotic, who pmed me via this site) scammed me for this transaction

 

Because the dude you were scammed by was on another skype account pretending to be you and requested for Milotic to PM your account.

 

Sir, if you felt something slightly out of place, why did you continue to trade?

Unfortunately you were talking to an imposter of Milotic, please review you evidence and youll notice it. Moreover, there are Official middlemans and many more things you can use specially in trades of this magnitude.

Right.. so are you saying the account pictured, which directly PM'd me on this website (Milotic) is an imposter of the real one? Obviously the skype info is different - that's not what I'm questioning. The legitimate account on Sythe was the one which directly PM'd me that incorrect info.

 

Someone explained to me what likely happened - thanks all. It's NBD, was mostly just confused lol

 

@y so serious next time read PMs carefully, as you can see the PM he sent you & the chatlogs you have with each other don't match at all.

You were scammed by an imposter, sorry for your loss.
