Cybersquatting report against Noob1337

Explanation of the situation : I'll try to give some background first. I currently have 3 websites under my name. Being www.rsgoldmarkt.be (hence my name being rsgoldmarkt on sythe), www.runescapegoldmarkt.com and www.runescapegoldbuy.com. My first one was www.rsgoldmarkt.be which i made about 2.5 years ago and which is solely focussed on Dutch customers.



One of my major competitors on the dutch market is Noob1337 from sythe (who owns the site www.rsmarkt.nl). www.rsmarkt.nl was created about 5 years ago i believe so he already had a big
name for himself when i first joined the dutch market. About 1 year ago, noob1337 bought the domain www.rsgoldmarkt.nl (So he bought the same domain as mine but with a different extention 1 year AFTER i bought my domain) which he linked directly to his own website www.rsmarkt.nl. I didn't make any fuss about it at that time because it was only a main template that forwarded the url www.rsgoldmarkt.nl to
www.rsmarkt.nl. But now (approx some days ago) he has gone as far as to actually copy the background of my site and even imply that we would scam. This is also the reason why i'm only complaining about it now. Proof of this is found here -> http://prntscr.com/9afkrg. The part where it says "Nieuwe websites zullen altijd komenen gaan, zorg dat je bij een betrouwbare website zaken doet!" translates to "New sites will always come and go, make sure u deal with a trusted website!". Also this is what my website looks like -> http://prntscr.com/9afvto. This was basically the last straw for me as this is not just a dirty business tactic anymore. Its basically warning people not to order from my site.


Fun fact is that he didn't target just one of my sites. He's targeted 2. My English site www.Runescapegoldmarkt.com has also been cybersquatted with www.Runescapegoldmarkt.nl and www.Runescapegoldmarkt.be (both owned by Noob1337).



It would be fun for me ofcourse if he could just sell me the domain rsgoldmarkt.nl (which would technically be the right thing to do). Reason why is because its just blatently obvious that he is trying to steal my customers by using VERY dirty business tactics. And i already tried talking to him about it in the past but he refused to sell me the domain (obviously).



It would basically be the same if i were to purchase the domain divicasales.org (the real site being www.divicasales.com), put a link to my own site in there & warn people to only buy from a "trusted website". Gently implying that divicasales.com is a scam site (which is obviously not true). It should be considered theft in some way. Not theft of money directly but if he steals customers from me that makes me lose money and potentially even more money in the long run due to losing MASSIVE repeated business. Sidenote aswell : i paid about 125€ for the site design.



I have already sent Richard a pm about it and he said that i should just make a dispute and see what happens. I really hope the Sythe staff can see how this is beyond just a dirty business tactic. Hopefully some punishment can be applied (even though it has nothing to do with Sythe directly, it has something to do with my sites directly which is why i'm on sythe.org). If the ruling is that nothing can be done than i obviously accept that but in my eyes if (for example) i were to make a site with the domain www.arcusgold.net, advertise it and actually get some decent SEO on there, then i would deserve a very long ban (atleast imo).

The staff discussed the above just a few days ago.

The overall verdict, both decided upon by lower and upper staff, was that, yes, it's unethical and shows how he (noob1337) conducts his business, but it doesn't break any actual Sythe rules.

If he were to outright slander you and say directly you are scamming people, then yes, that would be a different story.
