    Scammed by Arcus gold.

I have been scammed through arcus gold.

the initial trade was 485m for 51m 07. - I went first with HALF of it. 242.5m

While talkin to somebody on skype i asked for confirmation on the live chat on his website.

I was put through to lili, who confirmed we were talking. I left a code word to be repeated in the skype convo which he did.

I also asked to do half at a time - ONLY ON SKYPE WAS THIS EVER DISCUSSED.

After receiving the name on skype of who to trade I went and did so.

After this I was ignored on live chat so continued to discuss through skype. I was refused the money with some rubbish excuses. Instantly knew this had become a scam.

Anyway, I eventually get a reply on the live chat asking if i'd like to trade "Another 242.5m" - The person on live chat should of never known I traded 242.5m because it was never discussed that we would be doing half at a time.

Even if the skype i was originally talkin to was a fake account, it is physically impossible for the person on live chat to know what was discussed without her actually being the person on skype?

So, Essentially Arcus staff have fake skypes but yet can still prove it's them though the online chat and use this method to scam.

It's well thought out, it's elaborate but when you refuse to answer questions such as HOW DID YOU KNOW I DID 50% OF THE TRADE FIRST WITHOUT ME EVER MENTIONING IT TO YOU. Your plan kinda falls apart.

I'm not holding Arcus him self responsible but his staff are taking it upon them selves to make a bit of extra pocket money.

I'd like to point out that this will be going to court and that Arcus as a company will be hearing from somebody within the week until this is resolved.

As a company you have a duty to provide, You failed to do so and have now put an entire company at risk due to having greedy staff.

Please also note - In the following image you clearly see that he is fully aware that lili had pm'ed me on sythe, how else would he know if they were not in direct contact / same person.

He knows we're talking on live chat - despite on live he's using the name lili

Here you can see the PM i received from lili with time stamp.

Here we see me NOTICE the skype name is different BUT he has confirmed through sythe pm and even said so him self. CONFIRMING IT'S THE SAME PERSON USING A FAKE SKYPE TO SCAM.

Here we see on skype that the person on live chat is saying they can't offer me the same price as he has. But without telling him the price said in live chat he then manages to come up with the exact same price as the staff of live chat, until they BOTH change their minds and come to THE SAME AGREEMENT.

As I said. This IS going to court if it's not resolved sooner rather than later.

It's an elaborate scheme but it has it's flaws. It was a mere 242.5m.

Can you check this image: http://puu.sh/66lTg.png that you provided us again? It looks like the chat doesn't match up, and Arcus Lili seems to be speaking with "sam.greenwall.aat" instead of your real Skype, which is "sam.greenwell.aat"

I think it's likely that someone was impostering both you and Arcus Lili. This is a common scam that Arcus Lili actually took appropriate measures to prevent the scam: she PMed you the Skype ID she was speaking with (which was a fake) & the conversation (which didn't match up with your conversation with the imposter).

THAT chat is taken pretty much directly from my conversation on skype, just with their name changed to something different.

Even if that was an impersonation then how come everything lined up perfectly on their live chat and I was then only ignored AFTER the initial trade.

She went along with everything on skype AND on the live chat. That doesn't add up at all.

There are several key differences that you need to look at. First of all, she stated that she was talking to a different Skype than your Skype. Second, she stated her own Skype was "arcus_lili" - which you were not speaking with. Third, the Skype chat is different. (read below to see why it looks similar)

Someone (a scammer) was talking to the real Arcus Lili claiming to be you. That same someone was talking to you pretending to be the real Arcus Lili. He spoke with you first, made arrangements, copied those arrangements back to the real Arcus Lili. The real Arcus Lili then PMed you with her information, which you mistakenly took as proof that the imposter was the real Arcus Lili (read: several key differences). This type of scam is very common and, once again, the real Arcus Lili took precautions which you unfortunately didn't follow through with.
