Scammed by an Arcus (Imposter, I believe)

Hi,

So I signed up on Sythe 2 days ago. I was buying via PlayerAuctions regularly but found the prices here luring.
I was interested in buying a Blue PartyHat, hence created a thread.

Mad1Maxx contacted me, added me on MSN. He refused to list prices on Sythe.
I refused to deal with him, he said he will ask a trusted member to add me.
An email [email protected] added me (imposter).
I was new and failed to realize that it was a fake. We made a deal I sent him 1000USD+ via WesternUnion. I lost the money.

During this process, I had asked him to confirm his identity via a PM on-site. The thing is Arcus here sent me a PM with his email address, I am not pointing any fingers here. Just want to know why/how the real Arcus sent me that PM when I asked the imposter to confirm his identity.

I have the fake's WU info (+phone number) and my receipts. If any staff member would like it.
I have uploaded a screenshot of Arcus' PM. Would just like to know what prompted him to send that.

Please note, Mad1Maxx linked me to the scammer/imposter, believe action should be taken against him.

Arcus pm'ed you with his correct msn's, all you had to do was check and notice that the imposter had a misspelled msn. Someone probably told arcus to pm you at the same time that you asked the imposter to pm you. Arcus isn't at fault here. Do you have proofs of the conversation that took place?

I understand Arcus is not at fault, but can he please provide the user who asked him to PM him?
