I reached out letting him know I’m interested in buying for $30. We agreed to use BTC and moved our conversation from here to Discord.

After discussing some more, I naively went first and sent over $30 which got stuck pending. We believed it was because he wasn’t using coinbase like I was so he went and created one and I resent another $30 to that one under the promise that he’d refund the other amount. (Again, stupid on my part, but I trusted him)

This 2nd transaction also got delayed in pending so we decided to leave it for tomorrow to finish up. However, once tomorrow came and the money went through. He blocked me on discord and I believe on here as well. Since then there’s been 0 contact and he’s updated his post saying the “buyer fell through” which is bs.

I’ve included screenshots of all our conversations. Unfortunately, because I was blocked on discord, his messages were deleted so you only see my side but you can put 2 and 2 together.

How they scammed: Accepted BTC and ghosted afterward.
