    Scam Report Section.

I guess the statement im making is why has this got as many scam reports gone un-dealt with as it has at the moment,Some have been their for over a week untouched, I have not seen the scam report section get this much lack of attention for along time "Yeah mods have other jobs to do" as some people put it, But theirs a line between other jobs and obvious no interest in dealing with reports, Im not bringing this up because i have unseen scam reports against someone but due to the mere fact that people who are getting scammed arn't getting justice.

I'd like to see some mods that directly deal with reports and nothing else.

If people used the right format and did not post chat logs it would make mod's life easier due to that before they get around,to do other reports they got to look at so many reports with no proof, I understand your point thought as the longer they stay unbanned the more they get away with scamming.

Yeah, You get my point, It would take an hour max for someone to go through all of the reports that have chat logs or are a complete mess and telling them to remake it with the right format or not at all and closing the thread therefore leaving the ones with the correct information to be dealt with instead of letting them continue to pile up, It's now 6 pages long and complete shambles.

What you don't understand mod's have a lot to do and due to the lack of staff atm it don't make their job easier if people read the sticky's in the first place threads would get sorted quick.

With that your wrong, I do understand what mods have to do and respect them for that, I do understand that with the right format they should tend to be dealt with quicker, What i don't understand is the fact that they are barely getting any attention at all If it's correct format or not, Their are staff that are happy to deal with reports when they are able to and some that obviously are not.

Yes I saw some of the threads some are posted in the correct format. They should be sorted soon I hope I reported like 20 with no proof hopefully the real scammers get banned, I know to it can be frustrating since scammers not banned yet but in the end they will be.

It's not frustrating for me but for those who get scammed, As you say in the end they'll be dealt with eventually, It's just a matter of who else is going to get conned whilst the report is just lingering.

Unfortunately, that's out of our control. The only thing we can do to aid the haste of the scam reports being answered is by posting them in the right format. Yes, the scammers may scam another user in the meantime, but there isn't anything that can be done with the short staff. Although I do agree with the OP, something needs to be done. Since the absence of a few mods (Gohan, Plznate, FireZ), this place seems to be coming to a stand-still.

This is only half right. Avery nailed the rest of it perfectly.

A well-written report often only takes about two minutes to fully process. A shoddy report takes upwards of ten minutes. Unfortunately, we're not putting in as much time at all, so it doesn't matter if the reports are bad or not.

I spent an hour and a half yesterday knocking out reports and banned about thirty people, but they were reports that were over a week old. Only about 20 reports come in a day, and there are an ample number of globals. They NEED to be getting done on time to avoid this huge overload, but they aren't.

By the way, the 90 minutes I spent yesterday.... I don't even technically have permission to ban people. I had to give people a "5-point infraction" to ban them. A global's gotta process the ban, anyway.

Yeah i have never seen someone put in as much time and effort into the reports as fireZ it's just one loss we are going to have to deal with and overcome (That sounds so corny i know lol) The reports will eventually be dealt with it's just a matter of when and kero i have noticed you've been doing alot of the work that has actually been done, Thanks.

If people spent the time to actually post proper format.
Actually post CREDIBLE evidence/proof that a scam happened, then they would get dealt with so much quicker.

I'm going through all 6 pages, and I find so many are that chatlogs/no proof gold was even given/ no proof who they are on sythe or if their msn matches or anything.

Take the time to PROPERLY report, and it will PROPERLY be handled.

That is why they should be instantly closed with that exact reason given instead of sitting their building up to the point of where it just looks like a complete mess.

You can't even understand half the reports.
If people do not open their eyes and see the stickies on PROPER SCAM REPORTING, then its their own fault for it not being looked at swiftly.

If you see some reports, and you have to put the information together yourself(as a mod) it takes time.
That's why they ask for PROPER REPORTING.

    Do it, it helps.

I think you need to read through the thread a little bit more more, It's as if your telling ME how the reports should go and what needs to be done, Which is not the case,Go back and have a read through the posts and maybe then you'll understand.

You're asking why they have been undealtwith
    I gave you an answer.
Improper reporting leads to more time involved to ban someone.

If someone would post a proper report, following guidelines, it will take a considerable amount of LESS time to ban someone.

    For example, http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1096689
He claims he was scammed. He said he gave the gp, and never got a pin.
However.. I see no proof of the gold even being given. Sure there is a picture of the (FIRST) trade screen, but there is no picture of it even being accepted.
How are the mods supposed to believe the gold was given? Unless the 'scammer' said in msn "LOL THANKS" or something stupid.

That is what I mean by improper reporting.
