Scam Report against [PrimalRS] - Refusing Deposit Refund

Details of the dispute:
I am filing a formal report against for unfairly withholding my worker deposit of $150 through prohibitive internal policies and active work discrimination.

1. Timeline & Work Discrimination:
- On August 15, 2026, at 2:06 PM, I attempted to apply for an order. Despite having a sufficient deposit, the system improperly showed an error claiming my deposit was insufficient.
- The order sat unassigned for 20 minutes and was eventually taken by a Staff member.
- When I raised the issue with the server owner, he asked for screenshots. Later, when confronted, the staff member claimed he simply "applied before me." However, the server owner contradicted this by claiming the "client requested that specific worker." They keep changing their stories to justify favoring staff members over regular workers.
- Over my 2 months in this server (where they claim over $13,000 worth of orders were posted), I was only assigned a single order. The work is clearly restricted and routed to specific individuals/staff, making it impossible for regular workers to claim orders.

2. Deposit Refund Dispute & Policy Abuse:
- Due to the unfair treatment, I requested to terminate my contract and receive my $150 deposit back.
- The server refuses to refund my deposit, citing Section 2.6.4 of their TOS, which caps deposit refunds at 50% of lifetime earnings. Since I was only given 1 order (total earnings: $17.55), they are offering me only $8.75 out of my $150 deposit.
- Due to language barriers, the TOS was unclear, but more importantly, setting a deposit refund condition based on earnings while actively denying me work is an aggressive and predatory practice designed to steal workers' deposits.

3. Sythe Rule Violation:
According to official Sythe TOS:
"Deposits are meant to cover damages, and may not be withheld without sufficient proof that damage(s) have occurred."

I have completed my work responsibly, caused ZERO damages, have no unresolved strikes, and am in good standing. Withholding $150 of my deposit under these conditions directly violates Sythe's global deposit rules.
: As clearly demonstrated in the attached screenshots, the server management provides conflicting stories to justify withholding work:

• The staff member explicitly admitted to me: "I applied for the order before you."
  
  
• Meanwhile, the server owner claimed: "The customer requested that specific person by name."

They are shifting stories to cover up the fact that work is not assigned fairly. They claim there is plenty of work available, yet regular workers like me cannot even see or claim orders because they are pre-assigned to favored individuals and staff members.

The Core Issue: I am not disputing the order prices or who specifically got the job. My issue is the complete lack of equality and fairness. You cannot enforce strict deposit-locking rules (Section 2.6.4)—offering me only $8.75 out of my $150 deposit—while actively preventing me from working by routing all orders to specific people.

Enforcing an earnings threshold to refund a deposit while restricting access to work is a clear form of exploitation and deposit theft. I demand full justice and the immediate return of my full $150 deposit under Sythe's global deposit rules
I request a full refund of my $150 deposit.

I reached out to them in good faith to settle this matter amicably. I offered to let them keep $50 and refund me $100 just to resolve this quickly because I am traveling soon. They flatly rejected it.

Their responses have been completely contradictory—every staff member tells me a completely different story from the other, which clearly shows they are making up excuses to keep my money

your deposit was paid in USD, but it was converted into and maintained as an OSRS GP balance, as visible HERE. The $149.86 you sent was converted at the applicable average buy/sell rate of $0.235/M, resulting in a 637.70M OSRS GP deposit, which is what was actually credited to your worker account. This was explained to you at the time and you acknowledged the calculation.

Our order system is based on "first come, first served", with limitations on which workers have access to each job category based on known capacity.
In cases where a customer has a preference for a designated worker, that preference takes precedence over the general job board.

Last night, when you initiated the "resignation" i showed you the calculation and you accepted it and requested expedited payment HERE
Orders are not assigned based on favoritism or staff status. As mentioned earlier, the general system is first come, first served, subject to the applicable job-category and capacity restrictions, with customer-requested workers taking precedence where applicable.

Your claim of discrimination is therefore entirely baseless.

 

There are no direct third-party expenses or losses associated with this worker. The costs incurred were primarily internal labour and development costs related to onboarding, preparing, and maintaining the infrastructure required for workers to perform services.

These are genuine business expenses incurred in providing the worker with access to our systems and preparing him to perform orders, rather than a separate monetary penalty imposed upon resignation.

We are not claiming that the deposit is being retained as a profit stream. The refund calculation was made in accordance with the worker TOS, which he acknowledged and accepted when he requested expedited payment.

also i would like to reiterate that the deposit was based on $149.86, which at the time of placing was converted into 637.70M OSRS GP, payout will be done according to our normal payout stucture according to ToS in 14 days after resignation, based on rate of that specific day & Time.

I don’t understand why I have to wait 14 days to receive my deposit when the last order I completed, and the only order I’ve done, was 35 days ago. I’ve also tried applying for orders a couple of times, but you guys never accepted me, so I haven’t received any orders during these past 35 days.

 

You just mentioned, “The expedited payout today was a sign of goodwill from our end.” So, I assume you don’t have any issue sending it today, right? Or are you just trying to hold it as a punishment, knowing that I really need it right now? If so, I don’t think that can really be considered a sign of goodwill from your end at all.

 

The order assignment process is fully automated. Workers are not manually selected or rejected by staff when claiming an available order.
The bot handles assignment based on first come - first served, with the exception of orders where a cusomter requested a designated worker.

Therefore, the fact that you did not receive another order during those 35 days does not mean that staff were manually rejecting your applications.

As for the 14-day cooldown, this is the standard cooldown applicable to worker deposit refunds under our agreement. The fact that your last completed order was 35 days ago does not change the applicable refund procedure or the cooldown period following resignation.
