Scam Avoided?

Each and every day I get several messages from people asking me whether or not some guy knows my transfer method.

Funnily enough this time it was regarding OMM/Mod/HUE Greg.

Greg was talking to Cody and said he will 'buy his 1.6b gold using a 'modified' version of mine/Crab's method'. Cody of course wants to confirm this with me, I pee my pants while I laugh at the possibility of him knowing my method or anything close to it, then add him on MSN.

Instantly he goes into defensive mode because he knows he's been caught out and starts claiming that he never said he knew it, he meant a 'buddy' of his knows the method. Of course though, he can't provide the name of this 'buddy' (who doesn't actually exist fyi).

At the end of the conversation, he asks for proof that he said he had 'Aufzen's Method'. About two seconds after asking, he said 'I'm out' (he actually just blocked me) not giving me anytime to even ask the other guy for the part of the conversation where he said it.









The whole conversation is basically him lieng. He says he didn't claim to know my method? He said to Cody that he personally knows a modified method of Crab's (who was my partner and knows the same method as I do..) transfer which will allow him to have 1.6B off his account within 20 minutes (ironically we are the only people who can do this) and the requirements are 25 Dungeoneering (the exact requirements for my method..)

So you decide for yourself;

• He claimed that he knew a modified version of mine/Crab's method which had all the same requirements and speed. He then lied about this saying he never claimed he personally knew it nor said that it was the same as mine/Crab's transfer when he actually did claim exactly that.
• He then further lied saying that his 'buddy' (he never said this to Cody) knew the method and not him, but couldn't even provide a name.
• What was he going to do once he was on the account, snapped back to reality and realized he doesn't know such a transfer method?
• He blocked me to stop the conversation escalating further to the point where it'd show he's a lying moron lol.
• Not an imposter either, MSN match's the one he lists on Sythe.

 

Well, it seems as if we have a case of 'Immaturity'. Greg seems to be acting like a child caught in a lie; creating more lies then running away. I highly doubt that Greg has your method, the only one I know that he HAD was the 600M one that is now patched. He didn't even discover it either, he had to close down his thread after knowingly opening one while another user posted the method first. Seems like greed in the making.

It would of been a lot better if he had acted professional about this whole situation as a whole. If he had done that I believe that he could of properly resolved this situation instead of ignoring you and blocking you. He needs to grow up, show some responsibility, and honor. He is acting extremely suspicious.

 

Why are you putting this out into the public? This is a personal dispute which other members shouldn't have to worry about. Try and sort it out with Greg himself and if he isn't co-operating, take it to higher authority, in this case an Administrator or a Global.

 

He has every right to post this out in the public, I don't see why he wouldn't. He is informing other users about the scenario and is trying to get their opinions on it. Greg has obviously proven that he not going to be co-operating as he childishly leaves and blocks this user. I do agree with you on contacting a higher power such as an Admin to speed up the dispute, though.

 

I'm bringing it into the public's perspective because without the original screenshots from Cody's conversation, there isn't enough for a report.

The public should be aware that Greg is acting suspiciously trying to buy large amounts of gold with a fake transfer method.

What intent could one possibly have to do something like that? Obviously something shady.
