PayPal frozen

Hey,

Recently I sold like 2-3b OSRS to PayPal, somehow my PayPal got Frozen now, cant use the money etc.
It said I have to give certain information to disable the freeze, but a friend of mine told me I basically lost the money.
Because he thinks this money is illegal and they wont unfreeze it.


Does anyone have experience with this problem?

Your account got limited, you should of received an email as to why. I'm guessing because you had a influx of money so they temporarily limited your account. Nothing to fret about, just give them a call and ask to talk to limitations.

It can be tough

I was in the same situation last year and I had to send all my real life info, ID, adress, etc.

When I did sent that in they asked for proof of delivery, which I couldn't prove because it's virtual and does't have a tracking link.

I got the money after 180 days, but my paypal is still limited

 

happened to me like 2months ago but you can still withdraw the money you have in your balance to your bank.

 

So long as there's no issue providing the information they're requesting they'll lift the limitation & you won't have any troubles.

If on the other hand you registered it under a fake name for example.. then let this be a lesson why not to do that ;-)

If your answer to PayPal is anything other than here is the information you've requested.. you're going to have a bad time.

Not impossible by any stretch of the imagination just.. might take some services most sites don't provide.. especially publicly.
