    Pretty dumb question

So i have CS5 and id like to know how can i take a picture and "paint" it on the screen? I saw someone do it, he had something that seemed like a brush but when he used it a picture appeared.

Probably a dumb question but i just got this and would like to know this :embar:

I don't understand what your trying to do. I think you want to open up your image, and click edit -> define brush preset. Then you can brush it around?

Okay i try to explain a bit better.

You take an image and u have an empty screen on photoshop and then you somehow paint the image on it so it appears little by little while you paint.
Thats how my friend added 2 images next to each other and it just looked cool.
