Account hacked help.

Hey guys so I went inactive from RS about a month ago but today when i tried logging in, it said my password is wrong. I thought it might be that I have forgotten the password. So I successfully recovered the account and when i logged in, it was a very unusal ip address (not mine), new email and recoveries were set and last logged in was 3 days ago. I didnt loose much from bank as I had sold most of my rsgp. I believed i was keylogged on my old computer because my old computer had a feew problems, but now i have a new computer from a week ago so I am certain this one isnt infected. Now the problem is, I want to change the recoveries and email but i dont want to alert the guy that i have gotten my account back. So is there any way to remove the recoveries or something? should i get the account locked or wat? the guy also has the info so i dont know wat i should do..

to remove recoveries, get the account locked then recover it back to delete recoveries

 

It would seem you're on the original IP, which means you have the upper hand in recovering an account. I think only Jagex could help you out with this, so you may want to contact them about the situation.

 

He's already going to know you were on it when he loggs in because of your ip.
I say take the first shot, and change pw, recoveries, email, and everything you can possible. If the account is truly yours then you should have no problem constantly obtaining it.

 

if i get the account locked and then recover it, will it remove the email too?
Also, any tips on how to to get it locked? Thanks for all the answers!

I did this for one of my accounts that got jacked and they cleaned off all the hijackers information for me

 

why don't you want to alert the guy? By recovering the account, the guy would already know that you have got the account back when he tries to log in

 

clearly, you didnt read the thread. I mentioned "he also has the recovery information." Anyways, I emailed jagex. This thread can be locked and now thanks to everyone for thier answers.
