What are your opinions on talk radio? I myself think that it is all bullshit propaganda being spread by morons. Half of the stuff you hear these talk show hosts say is completely wrong and the other half is just slanted toward whatever political view the host has. If I'm driving and put on a talk radio station, I will only hear the republicans talk about the economy on days that the stock market has gone down so they can blame it on Obama. But when the stock market declined by over 10% that first day we took notice of the economy, these same republicans said it was no big deal and wasn't Bush's fault. Also, when that U.S. captain was rescued from those pirates, these republicans said that Obama took too long (5 days) to rescue him when in most situations like this it takes close to 3 months before anything is resolved. It just shows the bias and lies spread by talk radio.

And btw, I'm not trying to say its just republicans who do this, its just that I don't know of any popular democrat talk radio shows where I live so that means it is only republican talk radio that I'm exposed to but I am sure that the democrat talk radio hosts spread just as much propaganda bullshit as the republicans do.

Newspapers are the same way except that their stories aren't as radical. I personally think that you can only believe good stuff about republicans if it's coming from a democratic source and you can only believe good stuff about democrats if it's coming from a republican source.

FYI - I'm an independent, I didn't vote, I supported Romney, I preferred Hilary over Obama, I think that Bush is incredibly under appreciated and I believe that Obama is doing a good job. - Just some background so you know where I'm coming from.

Sooooooooo, what are your thoughts on talk radio?

I don't normally listen to it, I prefer music. The only one I really know of is 96.9 fm talk Boston. It's obviously conservatively slanted, but I kind of like listening to Jay Severin. He's sort of a pseudo-libertarian Republican.

Yes I agree when I switch to different talk radio stations which are discussing current affairs, half of what they are discussing is horribly wrong, the other half is so biased that it is crap too.

I suggest only listen to talk radio stations if you are really bored, or if they have the same political/biased views such as yourselves or you won't be happy.

I always enjoyed listening to Michael Savage, but they cut him out of the lineup of our talk radio station to put in Hannity.
It really annoys me when people base their opinions just on what some talk show host said. If you aren't intelligent enough to form your own views then you shouldn't have any say in political debates.
