Aviansies- Good money now that bots are gone?

Today I tried out killing aviansies now that bots are gone. I knew that since it wouldnt be as crowded. I was suprised to see that it was 350k an hour usually. The only thing I want to know is, what is the best set-up I could have with all of the god armor and still have a good range bonus.

 

on my range tank (91 range) i got to 500k an hour.
and depending on how long u want to stay for (short) barrows helm and legs
(long) dragon med dragon legs.

for the god armor, i did saradomin vambs,zamorak body, armadyl pendent.

and your best shield.

 

Alright cool! I have been doing black d'hide with armadyl pendant zammy cape, sara book. I'll try your method. I am trying to stay for a long time so I will try that.

 

Don't forget bones to peaches tabs. With those, you can literally stay there for days.

What familiar are you using, a uni would be the best but if you only have bunyips thats fine also.

Yeah man. my inv was grapple bones to peaches, natures and fires for alching and rocktails. I never had to leave unless I wanted to.

 

350k an hour? Aren't frosts or normal dragons better?

 

Frost dragons require high dungeuneering. Normal dragons are in the wilderness/too crowded. They work but it has a risk if your in wildy.

 

I don't know that aviansies would be that good. They were never really so crowded... it was always possible to find a world with only 1-2 bots.

Addy bars haven't really recovered much yet either. If you lack the stats to do frosts, though, I agree that it's definitely worth it.

Yeah, Aviansies actually aren't too bad. I used to camp there for 2 days at a time if I was hurting for cash and I would always walk out of there with TONS of addy bars, quite a few thousand nature runes, and atleast a few mil in cash, all from alching the little rune items that they drop. With a decent amount of bones to peaches tabs, there is no reason to have to leave for the bank, providing you bring enough arrows & supplies to last you

Aviansies are actually a great alternative to Frost Dragons, for people who lack the dungeoneering level + cannot afford a cannon and the expensive gear, etc. They also were VERY crowded towards the end before the bot nuke, and the multi combat made it a huge problem as the bots would try and steal your kills, so you pretty much had to have 99 range to get around that.

When I came back to RS a few months ago I was going there to make cash for a little while, but it was just too damn packed and took forever to find worlds, that I gave it up after awhile and replaced it with better money making methods that I came across.

 

Yeah, I recently got a level 3 clue from them too. I would finish it but its a coordinate clue that is located in the pass thing to get to the Tyras place. I'm not sure how to get there without finishing Regicide. So I think Im just going back to Aviansies.

 

Doing aviansies clues is inefficient imo - takes too long to get your shit together and walk back to GWD.

 

Agreed! If your serious about making good cash at aviansies, just drop your clues, or hold on to 1 at a time. 99% of the time, they are NOT worth the effort and will only hinder your progress.

Yes,
Best gear that you can afford (Range attack+Range def) Broad bolts if 55 slayer, and depending on your range level and defense level use the lower level aviansies. Since there is no more bots you can easily kill the lower level ones without waiting.

 

What do you guys do with herbs? Like grimy rannars that they drop. They alch for like 20 for me.
