Alright but what if they influence them to love everyone and to care about life and your fellow man? I guess then you wouldn't be against it because that's how your parents influenced you.

 

My standpoint on this is that parents should raise their children and instill good values and beliefs in them relative to their society.

I have no objection to parents bringing up their children to kill, so long as society finds killing good.
I have no objection to parents bringing up their kids as Christian, however I would if I were to give you a scale of my objectivity, in the medieval ages where Christianity and religion where sought very Highly I would give a 0 however now I would give a 4.

Parents should instill their own personal values and beliefs and also take into account societies current views on them.

I would condemn parents for now trying to bring children up saying the world is flat.

 

Not when it comes to religious factors no. I certainly don't listen to my parents about religion at all.
