Safest way to recieve a payment? [ANTISCAM]

Western Union is one of the safest and most used after paypal to sell gold

 

AlertPay is very similar to PayPal, however, it is a lot safer for virtual goods, especially for sellers. I'd recommend taking a look at them.

 

If i use paypal what's best method?

 

Best method would be to have the seller have a confired HOME address. Ask for a contact number. Make sure their paypal is verified.

Have then send as GOODS not GIFT. Screenshot you trading them whatever.

However, this will not prevent them from filing and unauthorized transaction dispute.

 

make sure u do not have them send it as a gift! no matter what anybody says i found this out yesterday if the money is sent as a gift they file a dispute. but paypal doesnt actually inspect it they just send the money back to the owner bcuz it was a gift. and no offense to anyone else who says other wise if you dont believe me call paypal and ask

 

not true if they wanted to dispute it as a gift they would get the money back no matter what. even if it was over a item that was not virtual goods. even if it is easier to scam through mail they forget they now have there address and can easily report them for fraud and call the cops lol.

WU is the best.
but people CAN chargeback....that is of course assuming they live near you, know your address, carry a knife, and know where you keep your money

besides that its the best IMO

 

I just got messed up on my second paypal account because I didn't know about only having two accounts (and they must be different, I was using two premier )

 

just a heads up warning Western Union can be taken back if you didn't pick it up before they cancel it. So if your using western union make sure to pick up the money first before giving out the item.

 

You cannot be Charged back through Western Union (WU), Mail (duh), PlayerAuction (PA).

If you cannot access WU and prefer not to use Mail, use PlayerAuction and you'll get your cash in PayPal through PlayerAuction and buyer wont be able to charge back.

na mate that whole several accounts of paypal won't work .i just got scammed today. Sold money two days ago for 250$ received it no problem. I quickly sent it to my buddy who transfer it to his bank for me and gives me it in cash irl. He wired it to his bank but his bank processes the transfer for 3 days so the money is basically frozen. Anyways Paypal actually fucken reverse the money from HIS account, sent it back to me then FUCKING reversed it back to that scammer. I called them tbh and they said theres nothing i can do as it's virtual goods and I have no evidence that something was sold/traded. Making him sign when sending the payment saying " I will not refund this item etc.." does not work. Paypal said the message is not evidence because it is just a personal message between buyer and seller. Anyways no more damn Paypal just WU.

Player Auctions has a pretty cool system using paypal, believe everyone on here should use player auctions with paypal, only seller has to worry about fees though so it could be like 50/50 on fees by adding a fee to the gold/item for sell.

 

Use Western Union , Or a simple bank transfer is the way to go.

I'd use a bank Transfer for anything over $150.
They are not hard at all.
