Safest way to buy GP?

I'm looking to purchase a fair sized amount of GP, around the 250m - 1000m mark to my maxed account. What would be the (relatively) safest way to transfer from the seller to my account? Straight up trade, roleplaying a scenario, duel arena, wilderness?

I just always have the seller send me a message on runescape saying "congrats on winning my youtube giveaway" Then it looks like you won it.

 

A straight trade would be ok most people here trade over bils at a time nothing has gone wrong for me either doing straight trades.

 

A direct trade has been really safe for months.

But if you want to be on the safer side, it takes a few more minutes to stake the GP.

 

Yeah the safest methods are via staking or drop trading, the latter being the only option aside from regular trading if you are f2p.

 

Just stake it.. or have them say you won a contest... but honestly for anything under 500m you should be just fine. if its over that i stake it just for added security.

 

Drop trade. Make sure there are no limitations. Assuming the seller is alright with doing a drop transfer which most aren't lol. But you asked for the safest in regards to anti ban/wipe (i'm assuming).
