RWT Question

I don’t really know if this can be answered or not.

I recently purchased gold (1.5B ish), and sort of regret it as I’m paranoid about a permanent ban. I don’t mind a 2 day, but really concerned about it being perm.

I am scared every time I log in lol.

Is there a time frame that I should be “in the clear” ?

 

If account has no previous rwt offenses you should be fine as most of the time everyone receives only a warning and they remove ur cash stack so i suggest you to buy items and hold it for atleast a month or so. You can still use the gold w/e you like just keep ur stack at minimum. And since rwt (buyer bans) are issued when the seller you purchased from gets hit, its really hard to tell when you're "in the clear".

 

Wouldn’t really worry unless you’ve had a previous buyer offence. Never really heard of Jagex removing GP though.

I’ve had one on one of my accounts, completely fine. I just use an alt to trade on now.

 

Gold sellers typically get a perm first offense.

Gold buyers either get a warning or a temp ban and gold pile removed. Items are not removed just gold stack and tokens.

Aaaah! That’s good to know, best to acquire items over gold then for longevity of your account.

 

If you buy gold, do so in one purchase and buy items with it. This minimizes your risk.
