RWT newbie questions - OSRS

Hi guys,

I just joined OSRS not long ago after a 7 years break from RS. I just got some basic questions regarding the whole processes of RWT.

1) If I got to buy OSRS gp, how can I trade safely so my account wouldn't be banned? Do gold sellers just simply trade the whole sum of gp to my main?

2) Similarly, if I want to sell gp, how should I transfer it from my main to my buyers? A lot of people rent stakers and sell their proceeds for profits, how do they safely transfer their large amount of gp to their buyers?

3) A lot of people goldfarm with f2p bots that get ban quickly, how do they safely transfer their gp?

Thanks, I just find it quite interesting on the whole logistic processes.

 

1. In my personal experience, just trading the money over with 2 'decent' accounts is fine and wont get you banned. Decent is like level 40+ cb.

2. ^. Also renting a stakers brings risks too, as the owner of the staker can lock the account whenever they want. A lot of scams happen that way.

3. They trade it to gold sites, which in turn use more extensive methods to trade safely. Like using multiple decent accounts, all with a (different) VPN IP.

 

I see. What about accounts buying then? Since the IP addresses of log-ins would be different when the account is exchanged, wouldn't Jagex catch on that?

 

Account sharing is legal now so the only way they’d catch you is if you knew you paid for it

 

To lower the risks just avoid trading with 3rd world countries(china included), and people that use low level accounts, and f2p gold farming is close to useless if you don't have all the infrastructure to automate the process completely from creating accounts to setting them up
