2nd chance ban appeal success?

Has anyone had success getting their accounts unbanned with the new system? I have a couple old accounts, like my original main from RS2, that got banned 2-3 years ago when I botted on them and picked up macro majors. I would LOVE to get them unbanned and very likely play legit from now on, at least with those accounts.

 

The mod who originally revealed this months ago on reddit said to just be honest. Doesn't seem like the best method lol.

 

Jagex can just cross-check what IP you were using when you got caught macroing and they 100% sure if a macro was used. If you say your account was hijacked then this wouldn't have any guarantee of working. What i would do if i were you is "be honest" indeed. And write a really well written message that you would love to get this account activated again, that you learned your lessons and that you now play OSRS on other accounts, and show that you haven't had any offenses: proofs that you learned your lesson
