3 day RWT ban (minor)

Has anyone else caught a 3 day ban lately and then RWT’d still on the account? I really don’t want to lose my account but damn bonds are 3x the cost of black market GP.

could I say buy 90m and fight the seller in a pvp world to make it look legit? Or should I just buy bonds and let my account cool down for a few months?

i get my account back tomorrow and I’m hoping the 40m I had isn’t gone.. should of bought some items to hold it instead of having a cash stack.. still will have a good bank but losing a 1/5 would suck but better then the entire account.

 

If you value the account, I wouldn't do it. I would assume it's very likely that they will catch you again if you RWT right after a RWT ban.

 

ya I’m definitely not doing anything soon. Guess just mad I’m pretty much flagged now. Makes me want to promote more rule breaking lol

 

You could buy on an alt (don’t be a doofus and use a level 3) and let it sit there for a while. After it has, slowly move money to your main over time. Could still get you since you’re flagged.. but that risk is yours to take.

if all my GP is gone I’ll risk it for the biscuit but I think I’m going to make a ALT and work on it on the side and buy a big chunk of GP then in 3-6 months move it over when my main needs it.

 

Yeah. From my experience, they only warn/ban accounts that actually interact with or benefit from the purchased GP. I would suggest moving the money to your main in small increments (5M-50M) at a time when you do.

 

Jagex new stance on RWT for buyers has been going on for over a year now, I think the golden time where you could buy gold and not have to worry about it is gone.

I wouldn't RWT on that account that's flagged because you never know if the Jmod reviewing the case will give you a 3 day ban or perm, theres been mixed ancedotes on what happens after the initial warning if you continue rwting. I'd suggest using the alt and trading off increments like above user mentioned. Try using an aged account to receive the gold and avoid sellers with low lvl accounts.

Truly sad they focus so much on RWT instead of trying to make the game better.
I won’t be buying any gold on my main but I made an ALT and will on it in a few months and slowly transfer it over by items instead of GP. Def will follow your advice.

 

They didn’t take my GP wow. Got lucky

 

I have not actually been banned for RWT , however I have been banned for RWT by using a 3rd party website to gamble. My logs actually show "rwt - games of chance" & after being banned for 2 weeks the first time, I was banned almost the day after using the website 1 more time via that account.
