Best free forum software?

What is your favourite? I'm interested to know as I'm making a multiforums for IPB 1.3, and perhaps I'm a little stupid in doing so o.o

 

I really like MyBB. Imo easily one of the top free forum software.

 

I'm not sure if it's classed as software as nothing is downloaded, but I use Proboards.

MyBB is the best one and is updated regulary. Then phpBB then SMF but they both suck.

 

Some forum software excels where others fail. So there is no best overall.
I use IPB too.

 

For my forum I started with MyBB. Then I switched to the paid version. Soon I will be using VBulletin though. That's the best out there at the moment.
