I have been following the recent drama regarding recovering accounts and it appears you all have made it crystal clear it is not allowed and a perm bannable offense!

Well, this person here has done precisely the same thing: admitted he recovered someone else account and even tried to sell it!

I realize it will be sad to ban him because he is a $100 donator and respected by few, however I do hope you do the right thing and don't prolong or deny his ban just because of his status on these forums. I feel very strongly about this as one of my Runescape account is on one of the lists out there of RSC members, and it was recovered (hacked) a few months ago - it was always getting locked and hacked because of its rare name. People who try recover (hack) accounts that aren't' theirs should really not be allowed here.

I have also screen-shotted his post in case he tries to edit it, will upload if he does.

Edit: I see that in the thread he has tried to deny that it wasn't his account, I mean really all that needs to be done is apply some common logic to see he is trying to get out of it. Nobody, after 8 years (when the account was stat wiped) remembers they had an account, then 'finds' the recovery information. I have also seen the account 'Sticks' on lists that people use to find and recover old accounts.
