Runescape world 80 Pmod and Jmod hunt bots today

some things i might add:

The Jmods didn't know where common places like draynor, or the mining guild were. they had to use a map.

It was basically a bunch of players following jmods banning people.

Its extremely ineffective considering it's one world in only a few places..

well they ended the event for now, they'll do it again tonight or tomorrow.

 

hehehe ... this little bot bust is like pissing on a 4 alarm fire ... good job you got a bunch of f2p bots with free scripts, because its going to be so hard for them to make an account.

as long as jagex keep their customers happy with these little parties and simultaneously leave the real botters alone, I guess I can't complain.

In all of my years playing RuneScape I've never seen something this embarrassing. For all the years this game has been around you think they would have an easier way to crack down on bots. Obviously not as you can see though. Another fail attempt by Fagex. Bravo.

 

All this proves is Jagex really has no way of stopping us short of annoying little White Knights reporting us.

 

If Jagex wanted to make RuneScape unbottable, why don't they just require their clients to be used only on their approved sources, I see it not being this hard, as when I played Private servers this was easy to do with their clients (aka so players couldn't access cheat clients), why not Jagex do the same with Bots?

 

Because of
A) They would lose 1/3 of their players
B) This requires another staff member, which equals money, which jagex will not pay
C) Jagex is retarded

 

Jagex is a multi-million dollar corporation .


They can easily get rid of all bots in no time.


But, since they are also smart, they realize that by keeping the f2p players happy, with these little events
the legit p2p players busy with new updates
and by not bothering the monthly paying botters
they get a hefty profit, and a pleased runescape community.

 

And they also relize that bots are essnetial to the rs economy. If they remove them all rs economy will go all to hell.

Seriously agree with ya I mean this is like the saddest thing I have seen in a while by jagex. It looks like some sort of child game or disney channel thing. I always thought me still continuing putting time into this game (well all I really do is bot now) was bad enough but this...puts sad into the next level haha.

 

Were you guys even there? every place they went they banned EVERY botter there LOL, but it was kind of sad the Jmods had to use the world map to get around XD

 

Tbh, it is impossible for mods to go around and ban the botteers.

Like seriously.. who the fuck bots at draynor... You go rimmington, other places near rimmington lummy and other places for willows.

not draynor.. thats like suicide

 

Also I'm not sure if this would stop things like RiD, which use a normal browser or Runescape client anyway
