Runescape video lag.

My computer should easily be able to run runescape at the highest settings, however the framerate is pretty terrible on higher settings.

i7 2700k @3.8ghz
GTX 580 3GB
16GB DDR3

Those are my specs, which clearly should destroy runescape. Anyone got similar issues running runescape on gaming computers?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

 

Just because you're computer is equipped doesn't mean your Wifi is. Do a speed test on your internet.

 

move your computer closer to your router or call your ISP and get better net because your computer is fine.

 

Why does everyone assume I'm on a laptop? lol.

That's my speed test. Surely it's fine? I can play other games and usually get pings ranging from 5-30.

 

Maybe its the world your in?
or theres alot of players around you.

 

Well it might not be you at all try to use low ping worlds in runescape. That should help a bit.

 

Try different display modes (OpenGL, DirectX, etc.)

 

um no not in particular..

 

I've tried but runescape doesn't let me enter any other display mode, it just gives me an error in the chat box.

I didn't know that video lag could be cause by poor latency?

 

Runescape servers are just trash. I run other games much better as well, i wish jagex would just update their servers every 10 or so years XD
