RuneScape takes up most of my CPU

Well for some reason for the past few days RuneScape has all of a sudden started eating my CPU as soon as I log in. And the worse thing is, it gradually gets worser and worser until I have to re-log to lower it again.

Two things I struggle to do lately are teleport and enter the duel arena efficiently. I lag on both occasions for anything between a few seconds to a minute. I'm pretty sure it's not on my end and it's something to do with the RuneScape servers. Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem.

Try using the latest IE because Runescape is most compatible with it, also turn off automatic updates

Click on tools at the top. A drop down menu will appear, now click on Internet Options. Under "Advanced" look for "Browsing" you'll find "Automatically check for Internet Explorer Updates" Make sure it isn't checked.
