Runescape price check thread..

Nobody does price checks on that thread. Seriously, how am I supposed to check the price? If I ask somebody they'll tell me to go to the price check thread not knowing that nobody goes there. Is there something we can do to fix this?

Well, what should we do about it? I mean, there's no way we can MAKE people pricecheck. Maybe a separate section? IDK. Your account is between 20 and 35M I think.

 

I think the reason why it goes unanswered for so long is because the market has been fluctuating so much over the past few months that no one has a real concise value of the accounts being sold.

 

I think a sub-section dedicated to price checks (Price Check section) within each Market section should be introduced.

However post counts do not increase within those sub-sections, therefore a numeral amount of price checks may be accorded.

In return, all Price Check topics can either stay, be locked or removed.

I may actually suggest that right now along with a couple other suggestions.

 

There's nothing the Staff can do about this problem. It's the community that has to do this; I remember back before Kero got mod he used to answer every single request in those threads. If there was a few more members with the time, helpfullness etc., then there would be no problem.

 

Nobody spends any time there because there's no reward.
Deny and say whatever you want, but nobody notices the thread. That's why the wbm's don't stalk around there and PC everything. If there was a RS educator title like I suggested multiple multiple times, or some kind of title that doesn't include power, it'd be the incentive for people to help, but it'd also bring in unwanted attention. Just my thoughts.

 

I do quite a fair bit of them, through it seems like I'm the only one that does them. I agree with blade bro, there is no reward so people aren't going to jump to do them.

If you want a price check then post a selling thread and see what the first offer is and go off that.

 

Yea, ontop of account prices changing dramatic in a short amount of time - I'd imagine they're quite boring to do. :S
