    It almost made me...

    Watch in HQ

This was performed at a Catholic retreat I was forced to go to by my mother. I'm infact, not a believer. I am a atheist, and this skit still made my eyes water. If they would of strung it along some more, I'm sure i would of full out cried.

How about you guys? Is it just that compelling of a skit, or am I just a little bitch ^_^?

And yes, it is hilarious that God is black.

I'm an explicit atheist, but that was a great skit. Apparently god wears Jordans!

That was a really nice video, I was thinking I'd open it and watch a minute or two, but I watched the entire video. I wasn't crying, but it gave me chills and found it very entertaining. It was a well thought out skit and I can see how it's inspirational. Were those the same people who preformed the skit for you?

No, it was some of the group members that hosted the retreat.

Okay - so, at first I thought there was something inappropriate going on between that girl and God. >.< He looks way too old for her, and the whole puppet thing was creepy.

I guess it was well acted-out, and there was some good drama up until she decides she's fat and pulls out a gun. But, I'm a through and through atheist, and the message of "embrace God and be saved" still ruins it for me. As soon as she looked at God and put the gun down, I thought "bullshit propaganda" and fell out of it.

I know it's pure propaganda, but it still got to me. That's what the skit was designed to do, play on your emotions. There's this man that gave you everything, but you lost sight of his goodness. You turn to other things, and that makes you suicidal. When you reach him again, you're happy. It didn't leave me much of a chance to think about the logic of any of it.

Of course the whole retreat was propaganda, and I was forced to remain silent through it all. I didn't state any of my opinions, because I know better. Challenging people's "faith" when you're out numbered is a losing battle. The mob effect kicks in really quick in those types of situations.

It was worse in the version I saw. God and the girl were way more "intimate".
