Runescape On it's way to a slow death?

hey guys just was having a think for a moment...Runescape is actually dying right now, most of the population are botters. the wildy is full of PJ'ers free trade has ruined the economy. What do you think will be the next big MMORPG because runescape will fade out, sooner or later. Comment your thoughts

 

These threads are becoming so repetitive It's almost annoying.
Yes the economy is ruined, yes RSGP is plummeting, yes there's a botting problem...No, we can't do anything about it.

 

Free Trade ruined Runescape and all of the people that voted Yes ruined the game.

Think about all the stuff that makes Runescape bad: PJers(Killing people for the loot), Dicing(Hosts making fortunes take little kids money), Scamming(Free Trade Allowed this), Botting(Most of the people bot to make money)

 

Gotta agree there have been a lot of threads like that lately.

Funniest thing is when Goldfarmers complain about the economy being fucked eventhough it's their own fault. ^_^

 

I have to disagree, any game is going to slowly start to go after a while because the player base matures and that game becomes redundant with all of the other games out.

I was one of those people who voted yes.. And i highly regret it.. my main thought was.. YES I CAN TRADE GOLD FROM MAIN.... but to be honost.. nothing feels better than earning your GPs properly.. I would love for it to go back to Bounty Hunter times, if only theyd fix the drop system

 

Runescape will never die not while jagex are making 10m a year off the game in net profit.

It still is a cheating community.

Technically, everything is on its way to a slow death. After all, everything dies. RuneScape is no different.

 

I DON'T CARE AS LONG AS A NEW KICKASS GAME COMES OUT, THAT IS BETTER THAN RS!

 

It's slowly dying yes, it's the botting problem. No real way to combat it.

 

Is there anything that we can do about it besides stop botting or free trading?

I remember seeing threads like this 5 years ago lol it always seems like the end but RS will continue to live on.

 

RS is dying but jagex is making a killing off the game so they won't make any drastic changes (i.e remove ft/w again) until they really have to.

Off topic, your videos are terrible and you should feel bad. Who wants to listen to 13 year olds constantly swearing?

 

I'm tired of these Runescape dying threads. People don't want to hear the truth and that is that Runescape and Jagex for that matter are going no where until they stop making money off the game. As of right now I heard their making almost 10m a year off the game. Until people stop paying and playing, the game will stay here. Those are just my 2 cents.

If Jagex wants to keep RS Alive they'd better do something to stop bots (mostly gold farmers)

 

People will still play it, free trades back and people are still playing P Servers. I dont think it's going to go downhill at all honistly

Yeah, jagex isnt going to stop botters but whatever. Its going to be in any kind of MMO like this

 

Im an rs vet from 04 and I must say I want it to be like how it was back then, Free trade did no such thing as you say "Ruined the economy" 3.5mil for a whip when free trade was taken away. You say the economy is not ruined from that? Please dont say the economy is ruined, a fucking santa hat is 158mil it used to be 20mil. A fucking hween mask is 200m+ it used to be 10mill. You can't say the economy is being ruined its just being put into a different aspect. There were still ways to transfer gold and ruin the economy with out not having free trade first off. Second I think the game play and overall quality of game would be 100 times better if they change the game back to how it was in 04-06. You used to be happy with just a whip and some barrows. Now you need fucking torva and divine and all this gay ass things that ruin the overall gameplay for people (mostly vets like myself). I mean i use to loveee castle warssss it was the best thing. I go there now and its the most boring thing because people camp with chaotics, and divines, and all this shit and it just ruins the fun. TBH It isn't really dying, because little 10 year old rich sons of bitches buy torva with their moms credit card and do all this other shit to seem fucking amazing over pixels. So little kids run the game now. So to answer your question its not slowly dying... But i think it will drasticly rise if the game goes back to 04-06 times
