Proper botting precautions? VPS? VPN?

Hey guys. I've been botting for years. Since the days of Runescape classic actually.

I've only been banned on accounts I got really carried away with. However, My main is still going strong after almost 10 years of on and off botting. I'd like to try to start botting multiple accounts at once, but do not want them to get traced to my main.



I am currently using a VPN, and was hoping it would help discontent my new accounts with my old ones. However, it does not show up in Runescape, as my auto-suggested server is my actual location, despite various other websites (google, Facebook, etc.) displaying information from the area the VPN is displaying. Anyone know the reason for this?



Should I look into getting a VPS as well for extra security?



Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

 

I would get a VPS, but make sure you do your research first...I spent 15$ on a VPS that couldn't even run tribot...I was pissed.

 

yeah a vps really does help or a fresh ip depending on your router/modem

 

Ip isn't a relevant factor when botting runescape.
A vps does however help to expand your resources at a reasonable price.

It is only worth it if you are maxing out your pc already. If not I wouldn't bother looking into a vps.

 

I have friends who run small bot farms. Getting a VPS has definitely reduced problems for them.

 

And guess who sells VPS's?
