Infraction for Poorly Proofed Scam Reports?

    Hi everyone,

I know this might sound stupid at first but I think there should be some sort of infraction for a poorly written scam report. I can't imagine how much time the mod's spend dealing with stupid reports on "this guy scammed me" - 15 mile wall of "conversation" between "them and another person".

They have the rule of no pictures - no proof. If people can't follow that rule, why not have a consequence for them? I mean, it would be considered a false accusation and gives the person a bad reputation.

There is a rule in the general section saying: "1 infraction given for:"
However, I never see any true infractions given (no temp bans, etc.). Where there have definitely been people that have screamed "scammer" on 5+ threads.

I don't know about others, but if someone screamed "scammer" on my thread -without proof- and I was just trying to do business like everyone else, I know it would hurt my reputation.

I personally wouldnt infract, if the person i infract gets tempbanned when he/she could possibly provide enough proof afterwards for a ban but cant, it would be a terrible situation

Infraction for Poorly Proofed Scam Reports?

There are infractions given out for accusing a scammer with no proof, as its bad rep. But if we introduced this, we might as well introduce infractions for silly suggestions.
    No support.

You can not get an infraction for badly formatted scam report.

About framming - it is a bannable offence.

Uh, no one gives out infractions for scam reports without evidence, we just say "No proof, read the stickies. Please feel free to make a new scam report if you have the required evidence," then we move on.
