runescape lag/computer help please

i'm lagging really badly, i believe this 'mem' section to be the problem
im assuming its memory?
anyway, my fps is kinda high in the picture, it frequently dips below 20

just wondering how i can fix this.

i really am a novice with all things technical, and just play on my standard laptop
i'd post my specs if i knew how to find/interpret them

anyone willing to help me find those would be much appreciated, if it will help solve the problem

don't post 'get a new computer' or something just as unhelpful.

Turn the settings down in runescape for higher FPS.

 

i was on the lowest possible settings. safe mode
just like if i was running a bot

 

Little ways to get higher FPS then, you can try to update your java or ssomething.

 

You can try downloading gamebooster. It worked for me and now i play runescape on the highest detail with no lag.

First go to the runescape download page and download the actual runescape client they have.

Then after you have gamebooster downloaded just drag and drop the runescape client into the gamebox.

When you launch it from the gamebox it puts your computer in gaming mode and should reduce lag. Note: I haven't tried this with bot clients yet but it should work.

Also another thing you can do is set Runescape to your priority. Sorry i couldn't give you a full on guide but just search it in google and im sure you'll find a guide on it. Hope i helped <3

 

A few questions please answer them:

What's your OS?
How much RAM memory?
CPU speed?
How old is the computer?
How long has it been since windows has been installed/reinstalled?
