A few questions

Hey sythe,

Can you please help me by answering these questions?

Whats the fastest defence xp in the game? 90-99 def needed

What are the requirements/gear needed?

Exp/hour rates for common training areas eg bandits/spiders and what not would be great too.

Also what would be a good way to make some quick cash with these stats (nothing too tedious) I have about 2m for gear ect:

I would probs say killing iron / steel drags with your rapier ik that it gets pretty boring but without visages you could probs end up with maybe 5m for 10 hours of playing or so

 

You can still boss very well, even without high herb and turm.

Get 99 defense at pest control, armored zombies, gorillas on ape atoll.

 

I'd suggest training defense through slayer , therefore you'll get efficient xp , and make money along the way .

Which kind of bosses would that be and I haven't played seriously in a while so will need some tips on what boss and gear ect.

Bandits AFKing with Guthans would be sweet..

I'm reeling in about 45k xp/hr with only 80 attack and 84 str.. you'd be getting 55-65k+ (that's what i also hear from friends)

Spiders I hear are also roughly 50k/hr but not quite as AFK as bandits, and more trips to bank would be needed..

I thoroughly recommend bandits as you can camp there until your guthans degrade, which is normally about 2 days of 7 hours a day for me.. (estimate)

You can also just put an auto clicker on to click every 40 or so seconds to keep you logged on..

Well thanks for the advice, isn't a full set of guthans more then 2m though and you need the whole set for it to actually heal you?

Id reccomend anti d sheild initate or prosthalite (pray armour ) d boots neitz. U use pray armour so u lst longer at them

 

Yeah thats what I was thinking so if I wear:
Helm: neitz
Neck: gloru
Chest: initate
Sheild: anti-fire sheild? or do I get enough anti from the pots :S
Weapon: Rapier/DDS for specs
Legs: Initaite
Boots: D boots
Ring: ring of wealth
Firecape - edit
would shit like that be aight?

 

With your stats, I'd chin 99 def. You'd have to buy a bit of GP, but you'd save a ton of time and it would definitely be worth it. If you don't want to buy the GP, I'd suggest that you slay for some cash. You should have a decent amount by the time you hit 80, which is coincidentally the level you need to kill nechs. Chinning nechs in the chaos tunnels will almost break even and also gets you a solid number of effigies.

This should get you 99 def faster than any straight melee method. You also have the added bonuses of 99 range and lots of effigies.

For gear on a budget:
Helm: range void
Chest: black d'hide
Legs: void
Gloves: void
Shield: deflector
Weapon: chin
Amulet: Ranging
Ring: Archer
Boots: Snakeskin
Cape: Ava's

 

So, basically what I should do is:

Get 80 slayer whilst training defence to earn money for chins.
Once I get 80 slayer and enough money for all the chins I go to the chaos tunnel and chin nechs to earn back my money
and get effigies whilst getting 99 range and 99 defence from doing so.

Does that seem about right?

Also how much will these chins cost approx? So I can save up RL cash to buy some mills.

 

I would do the troll invasion (or whatever it's called) minigame.

Since you can't afford full bandos, get full void melee, glory, f cape, d boots, have a friend rent you d claws or pay to rent them.

Head to burthorpe and go to the right of the warrior guild to start it.

I was able to get 60kp/hr with 70 att 99 str 45 def and not the best str bonus because of me def.

You should easily get a lot more. I've scene people get over 100k but with bandos.

Downside is that you won't be making any money.

If you want the money and stats, go for slayer.

 

Thats what i used to take before i quit rs and no you need antifire sheild it + antifire pots stops all fire damage

 

You could either slay or go to armoured zombies (since you don't have enough for d claws to do troll invasion). Armoured zombies are about 100-120k per hour. I would recommend you get a bunyip though (68 summ)

 

How many times can I do the troll invasion? I'll be saving up for bandos/claws and all the other goodies.

Alright well once I get a bit of cash I can get summoning up because I have a few charms left in the bank.
Does anyone have a link to a good guide for these armored zombies?

Once a month to get the exp bonus but as many times as you want but no reward.

 

So I can do it as much as I want but I wont get the reward?

And if I chose the reward I can only do it once a month?

What are the requirements/gear needed? Wear the best strength gear possible, aswell as defence because you don't have SoulSplit. Make sure you use Piety.

Exp/hour rates for common training areas eg bandits/spiders and what not would be great too. With 99 strength, 75 defence, I trained there recently from 96-99 attack and logged all my exp. I averaged between 80-100k exp per hour! Just use piety, pray at the altar when your low prayer, and in your case bring some food.

Also what would be a good way to make some quick cash with these stats (nothing too tedious) I have about 2m for gear ect? The great thing about Armoured Zombies is that YOU MAKE CASH! Just pick up everything they drop.. noted planks, herbs, runes, gems, addy kites etc. even the coins (they drop 200-500 coins at a time so it adds up very fast). I made just over 15M training there from 96-99

 

Giant spiders. Seriously give them a try. Im pulling 90k xp a hour with rapier and extremes, and this is with 93 attack and 90 strength. I got 89-97 defence in about a week Also can afk untill log out with no problem. So you can watch videos and stuff which makes it much faster. I highly recommend trying them.

 

Thanks for the suggestions, once I get cashed up I'll go there. Just watched some vids on the reqs and shit so it should be fairly easy to do that quest
