How to get a impostor banned from sythe by MeltingPixels

This will not work all the time, but most of the time you will get the victim's ip. Then you can report him to sythe and a staff member can find his account/accounts and ban him.


Firstly, click start, click run, then type cmd and press enter. Type in netstat into the DOS prompt and you will get a list of TCP/IP connection's pop up.

Go to msn and wait or open a chat with the imposter. Once your chatting with him, photoshare with him and just send him any picture, it will automatically open up on his chat.

Now type netstat into the DOS prompt again and you will get a new list of TCP/IP's.

Compare the new list to the old list and look for a new ip address added since you opened up the file on chat. The IP address you are looking for may also have the port number "1863" after it, but it won't always use that port.

I also recommend getting away any browsers etc so you don't get any incoming connection's from them.

Remember this is a basic guide.

If you added pictures it would be much more easier to understand.

 

I tried this but it didnt show the IP of the other. I used to do this by sending them a file and do netstat while they're 'downloading' though
