Don't lock threads just because the op is banned.

Just because the op is banned doesn't mean the thread should be locked. A number of interesting threads have been locked simply because a certain mod decided that it makes sense to stop a decent conversation because the person who started it was a ban evader.

So... Yeah.

 

As long as the conversation itself in the thread is not about the OP being banned or why he is banned, then I support.

 

Most mods only lock market threads to prevent useless spam. All other threads with meaningful discussion should remain open.

I think he's talking about a couple threads in the Spam Forum that have been gravedug and locked. FireZ usually locks those.

 

Locking really old threads is fine, but fairly recent ones, even if the OP is banned, they should stay unlocked for a couple of months or so.

Why would it matter? I support even if the conversation is not a "decent or intellectual". If it's in the spam forum, it doesn't matter because it's meant for spam afterall.
