What to use for str?

I'm about to hit 95 defence and want to train strength to at least 90. I bet a lot of you are going to say rapier for str but i'm 30 levels off of 80dung and cbf to get them right away. Should I just stick with d scim or is there something better to use as a one handed weapon?

 

Brackish blade, rapier or d scim.
You could also try the saradomin sword.

Is brackish really that good? Might use ss was trying to stick with one handed weapons but may change.

 

Brackish is simply a D. scimitar with its stab and slash bonuses switched, and no special attack. That's good because most monsters are usually vulnerable to stab.

If you use it, you'll most likely hit your max hit, and your stats will be boosted.
